I hope you're having neeps and tatties with that haggis.
I don't eat meat any more but if I was in Scotland I really think I'd make an exception for a nice haggis supper if just for the nostalgia factor.0 -
Hope none of our Scots members shoot me down in flames for this - I empty mine into a pyrex dish (lid on), break it up a bit with a fork, microwave for around 3mins, mix it up a bit and give another 1 or 2mins. Allow to stand.

neeps and tatties are ALWAYS in there as well - wouldn't be the same without them. Can't wait for my holiday - only another 9wks to go for some PROPER Haggis from a proper butcher's shop - now THAT one may get steamed.

Of course most times I used to eat haggis it was from the chip shop deep fried in batter, with chips salt and vinegar*.

I always do hagis in the microwave! Served with mashed carrot and swede (mashed together) seasoned with pepper and a knob of butter , mashed potatoes and loads of gravy. Its one of my favourite meals. I must remember to buy one tomorrow!JAN GC- £155.77 out of £200

I can highly reccomend the vegetarian version of haggis by HallsIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

When it's done topdress with a dram of Whisky.

Well, i roasted it and we had it with tatties and carrots & swede, it was lush !!
Some left so we having it with a mixed grill tomorrow lol0
