Does anyone know if you loose points for rearranging jobs on RE?

Also does anyone have one of the japanese takeout type restaurants from RE, on the notes it says:

Thursday Visits
Wednesday visits are different to other days of the week because your report must be completed online by 7:00pm the same day. Please do not pick up a Wednesday mystery shop if you are unable to do this.

I have emailed them to ask whether this is thursday or wednesday visits, but just wondering if anyone knows as they may take a while to reply???

Not that I am aware of as long as it is done within their time scale. But knowing RE they might deduct points. I had points taken off for a proof reading query, I went to a bookies, asked the staff to confirm it was the correct branch, both staff said it was this particular branch - guess what ? It wasn't. BecauseRE contacted me and it had to be reshopped, it cost me another lot of fuel / time / effort etc plus they took points off

How come I never see any of the takeouts or wine shops ? I asked them this before, to be told as long as my details were all showing 100%, I would get access to all jobs...

Thanks, as far as I am aware I think the visit I am talking about only has chains in London!?
• Cheesed off with Gap! I did a pizza delivery job for them yesterday where the reimbursement was £12.50. I assumed that would cover the cost - I ordered exactly what they specified, and it came to £13.75. So I emailed and asked them to increase the reimbursement to cover my spend and they have refused!

How come for this they can reply within a matter of 12 hours, but when I email with a query for clarification on a job I haven't yet done, they take 4 days and still can't manage to contact me until AFTER the job???

Also, what do you think about this? I know it's only £1.25 but I am annoyed - there is no fee for this job so it means I'm paying £1.25 for the privilege of doing a report for them. Is it worth emailing again? I have 2 jobs for them tomorrow and I feel like cancelling because it's got me so annoyed. Sorry to rant but I feel this is unfair. What would the rest of you do please?
• Scaredy - no the fee does not cover the expense and I guess it depends if you like the pizza enough that you dont mind laying out a pound or so for it. Personally I don't like pizza so I just don't do these jobs and I have no intentions of being out of pocket for something I dont really like.

Princess Leia - not sure if you can read this - but I am glad the operation went ok!:T

Becles - I agree with Sinders - that your report on that occasion would have been invaluable to the company involved for the appalling customer service, which is essentially what these assignments are trying to ascertain and not just ticking all the boxes on the brief.

Timmnes assertiveness - hmm yes I thought that - maybe the vows were,
" I promise to love, honour and be more assertive on mse.....":p

I'm in the process of composing a ranting email to them - I know I'm wound up and I shouldn't be for the sake of £1.25. But in the past when the spend was more than the reimbursement they upped the reimbursement to cover it so I had every reason to suppose they would do the same this time. I just feel it's a con. I mean, it's not really getting a pizza for nothing unless you argue that my time spent in preparation and in completing the report is worth nothing. How many people would be prepared to work for nothing? This isn't volunteer work!

I also had to buy a starter I didn't actually want just because that was what the brief specified. When I placed the order and found out it was going to cost more I almost cancelled but decided I had to honour my obligation. I think they should do the same.

Am I the only one who thinks this is wrong?
• Hmmm, I can't get on the office.
Never mind, I have a lot of typing to do for my exam on Friday (gulp). Best not waste the day chatting. Should have done it by now so my own fault really:o

It's obviously wrong for you, Scaredy and didn't we both do a chicken visit which went over by a quid or so? I suppose on that occasion there was a small payment so no money was lost, but a 'poultry' fee. Yeah, I know, that one's been cracked before...

I guess in future don't do them (I won't) but maybe the principle here is that shoppers should be informed in advance if a job will end up costing them, then we can all make a decision on what suits us. For some it might be viable and worth it for the pizza for a quid or so..
