Oh my god - you'll never guess what- one of my accumulators paid out on my betting shop job. I won £30 on one and as I had put another one on to win I won £8.50 on that one as well - whopee. At least that will now pay for the other betting shop job tomorrow and the supermarket job. Happy days. Got three more betting shop jobs next week so may bet on an accumulator again. Hubby getting worried now that I am getting addicted

Well done you, I went a bit ambitious and went for 8 teams and all came in except one:mad:

Oooh - so close. I'm going to see what's on offer for tomorrow and then I've got another three on Monday. I only bet on the Grand National once a year so really have no idea what I'm doing. Only bet on the accumulator cause it looked easier than working out the odds on the football slip!
  • OK I'm confused. RE say that you get paid twice a month - once on the 15th and once on the 30th. However, when I look at my payment screen it says a payment was made on 06/08/08. I've checked the account each day since and still no money. Should I have received this or will it be made on the 15th? I have e-mailed but have had no reply yet. Thanks x

Mmm, not necessarily! I am naughty just like cookinmummy and squeezed in a job while I was in the city centre! I'd arranged to meet my Mum at Debenhams after the interview but managed to do the mobie shop job on the way! She barely noticed. Then later a company who I've not done much for phoned and offered me 2 jobs in that very city so I was cross that I hadn't been called yesterday cos I could have fitted those in too!

The job is part time, so if anything it gives me more access to a big city with lots of jobs ....ooh I feel all of a quiver! (yes I got it by the way, no HP it's not Asda but a bit like your previous work in the NHS)

Many congrats Sinders I am so pleased for you.:T

Can anyone help, I didn't look what was to the left and right of a place today and it's too far to go back to :( I remember someone saying how to find once, but cant remember and am now panicking :( argh!

You could also try looking on your receipt for a phone number, or googling the shop you went to for a phone number. Ring them, say you are meeting somewhere there (or outside) and ask them what the shops either side are! ;)

Congratulations on your job, sinderella! :T

Has anyone doe a crystal shop for ISC. I have be given one for this weekend but on looking at the questionaire it looks rather foreboding and I don' think I will remember everything said to me during the cinsultation. Obviously can't take notes. Any suggestions?

Pammy that is strange. I registered with ISC ages ago but only did my test about 5 weeks ago. I have been offered a posh crystal jewelry one to. Doing it on Thursday so remind me Thurs night and I will pass on any tips I find.

Quite a detailed questionnaire isn't it. And their English is very stilted isn't it.

Google the post code and see if it lists the numbers of any other shops in the street. /quote]

It was me the other night that had the same problem. Check out the Royal Mail site, register then type in the postcode. Should give you others on same postcode. Or type in say 82 High Street ( assuming you visited 84 High st) and type in 86 High st.

    Hope that helps Bobthego.

Pammy, if you have a phone that records that's a great idea of Yeosal's. Wish I had technology like that.

What I do Scaredy cat is to send a voicemail to my other phone - then just play them back later and make notes HTH :)
