I've checked the account each day since and still no money. Should I have received this or will it be made on the 15th? I have e-mailed but have had no reply yet. Thanks x
I had this last month and I am showing a payment on 6/8 too, usually the payments take 4-5 days to come through at the earliest so I think you will find it cleared over next few days! (not gone in today for me!) I think they will pay on 15/8 too and then again at the end of the month!
ISC - I think they are a German company so the English is a bit stilted and someone from ISC is usually reading these threads so I am surprised you have not heard from someone yetI like them tho, they pay quickly and I found the jobs and pay good.

Congrats on the job sinderella and well done on the betting ellie.
If people are looking at making notes through recordings, you might want to consider a digital voice recorder. I've got an Olympus one, and the unit is very small - sort of skinny mobile phone size!
I stick that in my trouser pocket, then have a microphone on a wire with a safety pin, that I fasten just on the inside of the neckline of my top with the wire hidden inside my top. That picks up me speaking and other people talking to me, and if you take the unit out your pocket to stop/start it, it just looks like you are checking your phone.
The recordings can be transferred to PC with the software that came with it, and then you can audio type stuff up.
I've had it for ages now, so I can't remember how much it cost. Here I go again on my own....0 -
I'm sure I slept in and it's November already. I'm so fed up with this rain. Got 4 jobs on today that I was going to do first thing. Instead I'm going to have a warm shower, watch the Olympics and then see if the rain eases off. Do not fancy walking around town in the rain! Hope it's better where ever everyone else x0

Same here, got 7 jobs today and 9 tomorrow and the weather is crap!!“A banker is the fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining and wants it back the minute it begins to rain.” Mark Twain0 -

Has anyone looked in the legality of recording conversations without consent? Isn't it an infringment of liberty or something? I wouldn't like to find out someone was recording me at work with having informed me? I know staff are told that there will be mystery shoppers, and some companies are told that their phone call are recorded but if they haven't been told it might not be legal to record the conversations.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
I think it's illegal if you intend to use it for anything other than listening to yourself. I think listening to it yourself's fine - I wish I had the recorder Becles had! It would be amazing to quote a MoS for something they said and then be able to prove it (although I think this is where it becomes dodgy on the legality front!)0

I googled it and found some bits out:
basically as I read it the employees should be told if you are recording them.
http://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/clinic_mystery_shopping.htmCan I record mystery shopping?
Where mystery shopping collects personal information about individuals, the mystery shopping event can only be recorded where the client has a direct relationship with those individuals, such where they are their employer or their regulator.
The reason for this is that personal data can only be collected with the informed consent of the individuals concerned. In order to obtain this consent, the individual must be informed in advance of the data collection, who will have access to the information collected, and the purposes for which it would be used.
Employees can be notified of mystery shopping exercises in employee contracts, staff handbooks, bespoke communications, circulars or newsletters. Details need not be given on when exactly the review will take place, exact details of aspects to be covered, or the types of mystery shoppers to be used. Employees must be informed at this time if any form of recording will be used.
Names of staff members or identities through visual or sound recordings etc can be revealed as long as appropriate communication as to this effect has been given. Clearance from unions or staff organisation representatives should be sought in such cases.0 -

If it was you'd have a teeny tummy and a little baba!
Thanks everyone for all the congrats re the job. Like I said now I've got to decide what to do!
Scaredy cat and Pammie I think that two department shop is quite easy and the report is teensy. I think the fee is reaasonable on that basis - I despise long reports which seem to add no value - although the other shop you mention which has about a third extra on the fee compared to the department is not one I've done. Maybe the higher fee justifies the longer report? I seem to remember the two department one specifically said it was an 'easy shop and report'

I know a few questions have been asked about Abai-i again and which jobs they have. Best thing is to give them a call and see if they can add any more for you.
