From your P60, what were your earnings, and what did you pay in NIC?.

Hi Stazi, it only records PAYE.

it says pay in this employment : 2759.87

total pay for this yr. 2759.87

    170.42 tax in this employment

nic: employees total contributions payable 115.01

I had only been PAYE 6 mnths when that P60 was produced.

I have a letter from Inland rev. requesting I send in P60 which I must of done.

I also have a demand for tax for 2004 as I was given the wrong tax code.

    Regards.

    Becky.

Your earnings of £2759.87+ £1742 (26 Class 2 stamps 'valued' at £67 each)= £4501 - which is more than the minimum of £3350 (50x£67)needed for this year to count for IB. Ask HMRC if they have the same totals on your NI records for this year 00/01.

Now go argue with HMRC about 99/00 as in my post#69.

    Best Wishes

    They won't change it.

They said 00-01 was still short of 11 weeks because I left self employment Feb 00 so had to pay class 3 ergo not enough stamp was payed for IB.

They won't change 99-00 either still stating my dates are 12 weeks short.

I'm not well enough for this any more.

    Thanks for trying to help.
