Tiscali/Abbey connection

I have been gurded into action by previous post and emailed both The Times and Daily Mail re this problem lets hope they can bring it out into the open. All the time during this problem the Tiscali service status has been at 100% what a laugh

The proxy method lives on (!) but only using Firefox and with a proxy server registered to the Saudi Arabia backbone and local registry address space.

It's 212.116.219.54 port 8082, could be anywhere in Saudi Arabia, basically.

Internet explorer does not work.

I've had the same problems and received the same emails from Abbey. It seems like Abbey and Tiscali will not budge, so maybe the customers are going to have to. Abbey will be the losers because it's far easier to change a bank account than cancelling web provider and all the email connections I've built up over the years.
I'm about an inch away from closing my bank account.

Yeah Tiscali Saying They In Talks With Abbey To Resolve This Problem Of Not Accessing Your Log In Page.. It Been 4 Days Already And Think It May Be Longer....best To Go With Dial Up Just To Get The Banking Side Sorted And Pay Those Bills Ha... Engineers Working On It Right..prob Down Pub Watching Olympics On Tv...

Wonders will never cease - can access my accounts both via explorer and firefox straight away WITHOUT using a proxy- Let's hope it keeps working. I can hardly control myself at last I can sort out things
