Tiscali/Abbey connection

Can anyone with Tiscali please see if they can get the Abbey log in page. I have been trying for 24 hrs. Many thanks.

Hi there - I've just seen your post. I posted yesterday in another thread.
I've been trying to get into my Abbey account for 2 days now and I'm not happy!! I phoned Abbey, who told me there was nothing wrong with their site and they were aware of Tiscali customers having problems. I've now been in touch with Tiscali support 3 times and all they advise is to change the DNS server settings on my PC or reconfigure Internet Explorer.
I have friends on Tiscali in different parts of the country who can't bring up the log on screen either for Abbey, and have had replies from people with other providers who don't have a problem. I can access other secure banking sites.
Hope this helps. It needs Abbey & Tiscali to talk to each other to sort this problem out, but how you get them to do it is a mystery to me at the moment!!

I'm on Tiscali too and cannot get onto the online banking. I can get onto the main Abbey page, but when I click log on it just times out.
Spoke to Abbey who said it was a known Tiscali problem, and to speak to Tiscali to find out when it would be sorted.0 -
I tried speaking to Tiscali this morning. All I got was all their servers are working and I should uninstall any security programmes and see if I can log on.
I have just registered for the Tiscali Forums although it is taking hours for me to be accepted by a moderator.
There are two people on their also complaining of not being able to log in to Abbey.0 -
Glad I found this forum. Have been trying to log onto myAbbey account since yesterday morning with no success - just says web page unavailable like others mention. Spoke to Abbey :they are aware that Tiscalis and affiliated customers are having this problem. Then spoke to Tiscali help desk - what a waste of space - they tried to guide me resetting internet options - delete cookies and internet files etc did absolutely nothing. Spoke to Tiscali again this morning who tried taking me through same procedure - requested to speak to supervisor who said they were aware of the problem and it would be hopefuly be fixed in a couple of hours that was 9 am this morning. Still not able to get on - anyone got suggestions of how to approach this from here and escalate this further because I can see this going on - on looking around the web may have started 5 August so not a recent problem0

I have now emailed Tiscali complaints department, found under the Contact Us on their home page.
Am also waiting to get authorised to use Tiscali forums, if and when that happens I shall complain on there also.
The only other thing is to keep phoning Abbey and put pressure on them to put pressure on Tiscali. I have phoned 3 times today.0 -
Have also e mailed Tiscali this pm. Also just spoken to Abbey again and they are aware of the problem and apparently liasing with Tiscali to try and get thing sorted out0

Still cant get on log in page. Im feeling lots of :mad: towards tiscali right now. Thanks for your posts to let me know Im not alone.0
