Afternoon
Well, I didnt manage the stew so will have that tomorrow. Still not feeling too good. Lunch was fishcake, mash and peas, OH had HM pizza and some pasta  he's a pig though..lol.
2 washloads done and dried in TD as too cold outside. Had no energy to make most of the calls, so may have to do in the morning. Updated my quicken money files with my online banking and so far have a surplus of £190 out of my food/petrol money for the 4 week period-still have this and next week but should be able to move over £100 to the conservatory fundDW emptied and starting to fill up again  OH has finished all the glossing :T on stairs for the carpet wednesday. Am hoping OH will sweep and mop floors later as they are abit dusty with the painting being done-can only ask...LOL.
Have a few ebay parcels to wrap and send tomorrow. Need to make some more pizza dough in BM as OH has just had the last one for lunch.
Will catch up later as Im really knackered! Have just put the film Boo on-supposed to be scary but total pants so far.

Went into town today and posted an ebay parcel and then went to pay the rest off the new oven which is being delivered on 5th December. I've bought a Victorian style oven but it's brand new for £299 which I thought was a reasonable price for a new oven. I've treated the kids to the DVD of Charlie and the Chocolate factory today so when they come home from school that will be a surprise for them. Had my weekly treat ham roll in a cafe in town. At the moment I am making a casserole out of some off cut bacon bits the butcher sold me really cheap, herbs, onion and worcester sauce. Hope it's going to come out alright.
Me and my boyfriend (who live 150 miles apart) have decided to see each other every weekend now instead of every other weekend. It will mean double the expense but it will be worth it.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -

2 packs sausages (i.e. 16 sausages) (edit: chopped into halves or quarters)
7 or 8 spuds, chopped roughly with skins still on
1 red pepper (would normally do 1 red + 1 green but ran out of space in SC!)
8-10 mushrooms, quartered
4 carrots, cut into sticks
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tin tomatoes
1/2 pint hot veg stock with mixed herbs, paprika and black pepper stirred in
Lea & Perrins
Just chucked it all in together and cooked on low for about 8 hours while out.
This is a variation on my normal recipe - normally I don't include spuds but serve the end product with rice. Also I'd notmally include a glass of red wine, though it has enough liquid as it is. If you like it more tomatoey, put some puree into the stock/paprika/herbs/pepper mixture.
I used raw sausages this time, but I recommend you grill them first to get rid of the fat. Mine was yummy but had a greasy layer on top, so I'll know for next time.Operation Get in Shape

Sorry to hear about those who have had rotten nights.
Kiwichick: I used to get ours up & sit them on the potty just before i went to bed. It didn't usually wake them up, but they just kind of got into the habit of going anyway!
I have done next to nothing today so far. Not even had breakfast! I did treat myself to a nice hot bubble bath, and have done some washing. But other than that the house is a tip!
DS (age 15) says he will take me out to lunch, and I have been on the phone for about 2 hours to DD in Portsmouth.
Well, it is my birthday, so I am entitled to have a morning off I think!
Probably have a very busy afternoon to do some catching up, though!

Hi Kwikchick
We found that having got the small person dry at night he then reverted it when we changed his bed. We eventually worked out that his kidneys were getting chilled on the new mattress and overcame it by putting a sleeping bag under his waterproof sheet. Just a thought....

Today the kids will be counting the 'Christmas pot' This is an old brass kettle on top of the dresser that all the loose change goes in. Also clubcard vouchers and even those tesco vouchers from one of the questionaire sites. It seems heavy this year. Next week it will all be spent on everything from Chocolate to biscuits and all the other luxury items that you only eat at christmas.
Secret santa will also be drawn. We find that with 6 of us, it would cost a fortune to buy each other a present, so we draw out one name from the family and buy a special present for one person.
Should be a good evening. Also have 6lbs of lamb chops in the oven (reduced in price to £4) Bottle of wine, and day off tomorrow......

Car will finally move. Well it moved at 1pm, but didn't post. When OH gets home he's going to give it a good run to make sure all the water evaporates. With any luck I should be in the office again tomorrow.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
