It's evidently the only recipe that tastes totally lovely.

For a minute there I thought you were going to use four letter words all over the place, but I see you found a nice graphic for Math!

But just a four letter word for me, I see. Harumph!

Morning Yall, hehehe you've had fun with your smilies I see:D I currently have an overflow pouring out onto my conservatory roof making a sound like an elephant peeing in a galvanised bucket:mad: It's something to do with an expansion something or other that I'm clueless about. the plumber said he would be round first thing but as yet hasn't made an appearance:mad: I really need to go out cos it's our church Christmas Fayre today and I've got Santa's Grotto in the boot of my car. If I don't get down there soon the little-uns will be lining up to visit Santa perched in the disabled toilet:eek: Catch ya later

It is soooo cold here today - still in pjs and dressing gown cos its too cold to get changed! Have loads to do today to get ready for tomorrow but am in that "maybe later" mood!! I blame MSe for this entirely!
  • Have done absolutely !!!!!! all today. Was so tired from work this week that I slept from (about) 11:30 until 10:45  but luckily I remembered not to set my alarm, so no Nelski-style alarm-clock smashing antics :D I'm just lounging around in bed watching Friends :D

Today's mail included my monthly copy of Opera magazine, which included an amazing review of a singer I know really well, so I just typed up the relevant bit and emailed it to her - she'll be very happy. Must scan in rest of review and zap that to her too.

Need to get lunches sorted for next week but too late now to put on SC, as I've got to go out at 5pm - so I think what I'll do is start off a sausage casserole at 4pm-ish and dish it all up when I get home at 11:30-ish (got 16 sausages for 92p at the co-op yesterday)... meanwhile I'll do penne with butterbeans for my lunch and 3 portions for the freezer.

Pooky, do you have a specific recipe for that SC chicken - quantities etc - cos it sounds soooo yummy!

Penny-Pincher!! - sorry you had another bad night.

Anyway, lots of tidying to do so can't stay long!

  • Morning all,

Its so cold here again today, All 3 DDs, OH and me have all got stinking colds so we're all hibernating today, snuggling up on the sofa with lots of pots of Tea and toast.

I'm going to put a Chilli in the SC in a minute - I always put Baked Beans in mine too :D Might put the BM on later but I'm feeling very lethargic today so might just wander round MSE and make random posts all day :p

    Bye for now

Morning all.... not a good morning for me, what ever I have seems to have settled on my chest..... Dr's.... you must be joking, they are not open on Saturdays, so either have to go right over the other side of the city to the walk in place (more like pick up god knows what place) or wait until Monday.......looks like wait till Monday, would rather suffer than run the risk of what might be in the waiting room at the drop in......its still freezing outside......we had planned to put down the rest of the shed base at the allotment, well its going to have to wait....I am cosy in my dressing gown and slippers and thats how I am staying today.......lousy cough, what my Grand mother would have called a graveyarder, but will put up with it till Monday, I an eating ok, so its not life threatening........

Off to do tuna pitta bread for lunch and then cosy up on the settee and watch TV.....have 8 books from the library too, so should be ok for a while , lots of hot drinks, maybe a hot toddy with lemon and honey.... heating is purring away, house nice and cosy.....and soon I will be free of the dreaded Powergen.......

    Have a good day........
