O how annoying taplady what a long way to go for something that could have been done at your own Docs. Ah well you got your nails done so that was good;)

Hi betheebee  glad to hear you had a good time, and the weather was kind to you. Its lovely down on that coast is`nt it?

KAAT-LADY have`nt you got anything better to do than lounge about on a bed all day in a posh frock:rolleyes: ;) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good news on the weather redruby, yes I bet there were a few tears from the proud mum. (I am speaking from experience;) )

I was going down to B&Q today to take a look at the plants, but got side-tracked....not unusual for me.....:rotfl:

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Just a quick hello!

I wanted to send (((hugs))) to taplady how frustrating for you!Hope they get their act together soon.

I am absolutely shattered and resting up but it has been so worth it. We had a lovely meal out yesterday, a new chinese restaurant with friends and while recovering we spent today listening to our son being interviewed on bbc regional radio across the country online, caught up with him on bbc cumbria, guernsey and merseyside but only managed to record some of it on my mobile (and not very well) as I am not very techy:rolleyes: Then we went into town to do our J P Hartley bit and ask for the book!:rotfl: not very subtle but fun and a very proud moment for his Mum and Dad!

Oh well back to reality and to find something to cook for dinner tonight.

Catowen - I am working on Mr C for a day off to come into London to meet up, will let you know on Monday!

(((hugs))) to all who could use them

There is a OS group but dont think I belong to it (not very good with Facebook), but I am on there as Donnygal. If you dont find me, then let me know your name and I will try to find you.

I was really touched today, the people who had taken the old bedroom units on Freecycle sent us a Thank You card. They were so thoughtful trying not to put us out as they fetched it too. Nice to see some who do not "grab and run".

    Cheers

    Evening all

haven't read through properly although I remember LW saying something about being driven to drink - Happy to join you - it's friday and I'm on leave for a week - yay

silvercharming - great news about Dave and his boss sounds nice too.
Eagerlearner - great blog - have bookmarked it.

Oh dear - dgs is telling me something about poo but Nana's don't do poo so I've redirected him to his mum. She's here to read little dd's blog, download some guitar tabs and clean out dd(11)'s hamster as I'm scared of it.

Anhoo must cook before Big Brother - sad I know - have good evenings
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

Evening, late on here today, although I've also read through yesterday's thread.
Silver....so pleased that Dave is home and feeling up to eating again.

I would love to join you all in raising a glass to toast the happy couple, I hope Kathy has had a wonderful day.
But, I'm waiting to go and collect Miss Twit, she and her friend have gone to the punk festival in town
One of the bands they want to see is on at 12....why am I not surprised.
The locals will all be complaining about the punks being in the town centre over the weekend. But, when the local council don't appear to provide any extra toilet facilities or litter bins, is it any wonder there is litter everywhere.

Hugs to all, especially Pen-Pin and Taplady
