Morning all,
Mioliere, I hope you all have a fabulous day and that your son and his wife have a wonderful future together.
Aussie, enjoy Mama Mia.
Essex girl have a great weekend.
taplady, Good luck at the hospital.
ceyln, I hope your head feels better soon.
Belated birthday wishes to Anniebooklover and Jayward. I hope you both had a lovely day.
I haven't posted here for a few days because there's absolutely nothing of interest going on at the moment. The weathers been rotten so I've just been doing my best to entertain the boys and then working in the evenings. Dd has just left to go to Dublin to catch a flight for Marbella for ten days with her friend. It's a gorgeous morning so hopefully it'll be a good flight. I'm not sure if she planned it that way but she'll be away when her A level results come out next week. Maybe a wise move.Plans for today are to spend some time in the garden if the weather stays fine, it's been battered by the rain so there's loads to do, then take ds to the park, make a quiche for tea and then out to work this evening.
Off to pour another coffee. Have a good day everyone.

I've got some washing that needs to go out....but its not looking too good out there today, so haven't decided what to do yet. Washing up is all done. Had toast for breakfast. Trouble still in bed.
I need to pop over to a local nursery today to pick up a couple of blueberry bushes. With Lily about dad is a bit wary of anything spikey....which rules out what I really want. So they have been stubstituted with blueberries. The bushes have already flowered and fruited this year, so I should get a little crop next year. I am determined to be able to get something out of the garden.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.0 -

TAPLADY good luck at the hospital
HANNIEBIS welcome.
CANDYGIRL hope your Dd is ok after his fall, hugs to you.
SILVERCHARMING glad Dave is home.
Up early today as I wanted to go for a run before OH went to work. Also house needs cleaning. Made a yummy pasta for tea last night with HG spinach, mushrooms some boursin and a bit of pesto. Spent the day pottering and did some gardening and then took Ds down to the beach about 5ish. it really is the best time to go down as most people have left by then.
Today is the start of Folk week here, so we'll be out a lot when not working, most events fortunately are free. I am meeting my best friend later for a pizza and to watch the new batman film.
Have a good day all

Mioliere, have a fabulous day - don't do what my friend did, she was so intent on sorting out her DH and DS, that when they got to the wedding venue, she realised she had left her outfit at home - they had to rush back to get it
Have a great break Essex-Girl, hope the weather holds
DGD first birthday on Sunday, and they have a gazebo in the garden and have 37 guests coming, but I don't think the weather forecast is very good
Got on the scales yesterday, and I had lost another pound, so was really good yesterday - not even a glass of wine, got on the scales this morning, and I had put on 3 lbs
Off to MrA and Aldi this morning, then to the auction tonight, so a Chinese for dinner.
Have a fabulous Friday xYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Thank you everyone for your lovely and welcome good wishes. I just know it will be a lovely if emotional day!
Silvercharmig - I am so pleased that Dave is back at home.

Hanniebis - welcome to you.
Well, I'd better go and sort out breakfast for everyone. I'm walking round in circles at the moment (what's new?) but I'm sure I'll be cool and relaxed at 4pm (yeah, right!)
See you all later - have fantastic weekends, all of you!

W**k today but at least it's Friday! :j DS and DD go to XDH's tonight for the next week. He is taking them to North Wales for a few days so they should enjoy that.
I will hopefully be constructive when I have the house to myself. There are certainly enough jobs to do. May invite one of my DSis's down to stay as she is having a hard time at the moment.
My birthday present to myself is being delivered this morning. :j I ordered a chest of drawers in the Cotswold Co sale. I also managed to get £8 back by ordering through Quidco so I'm very pleased. I'm just hoping DS and I can get them up my staircase.
DD has finished the last of the milk so it looks as though I will have to pop out to get some for DS's birthday. Have a fabulous Friday everyone. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Hugs to Jayward, hope you feel better soon.
Hugs to Mrs Mix, Candy, Beth, PO Annie Smokey & anyone else I've forgotten.
Plans here aren't very exciting, nothing unusual there then, lol.
I need to dig a hole in my spare room as I have a friend staying tonight, she'll have to share the room with my sewing machine, but she won't mind that, I shan't see much of her as she's attending an event in the area & I offered to put her up to save on hotel expenses.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs Hester
