Good morning everyone, just about to go to work. Looking very overcast in MK, think we will have more rain! Got chicken on the menu tonight and will be going to Morrisons after work for the weekly shop and then just flop on the sofa.
Mioliere - have a lovely day, happy wedding!

    Morning Everyone

Mioliere: Have a fantastic day, don't forget the hanky.

Pen Pin and everybody else who needs one have a massive ((hug)).

Today is a better day. We had one wet bed but it was reletively early at about 1am so I wasnt to fast asleep. I've come to the conclusion that shes doing it on purpose to see her dad as hes been working long hours and not seen much of dd for the last week.

Anyway the washing line is full and the WM is doing its last load of the day. Igot to clean the house today including the playroom which is always a tip. Dsis and her partner are going to a wedding tomorrow and are staying with us tommorow night. As we don't have a spare room they are on a blow up matteress in the playroom. I'm hoping that there not expecting a lie in because dd is going to be so excited that shes likely to get them up at 6.

Later on we are going to a bbq at a friends. Should be interesting as they are childless and have invited all there friends with kids, I think shes trying to pursuade him to take the plunge. A couple of hours with dd should put him off good and proper.

Anyway I'm rambling so I'll go and get on with stuff

    Have a good day everyone

    Hi everyone.

Moiliere - Hope you all have an amazing day! Enjoy every minute of it!

Essex Girl - Hope you have a fab weekend.

Annie - Hope there's no comedy chest of drawers up stairs moments. Don't stand at the bottom of the stairs!

Hope the sun shines for everyone today.

I lost my job on Monday so I'm well and truly back on the OS wagon, more than ever. Feeling worried about it but my DH is so good at reminding me that at least we're well and have each other, what a love he is. Have applied for one job that I'd actually really love. Waiting to have a look at the jobs section in the paper today too.

I am going to pick my wedding photographs up today! We got married at the end of May and I'm only just getting around to it, oops. Very excited about that though.

Hope everyone has a good day. x

Flying visit from me just to say good luck to the happy couple. Enjoy your day mioliere and dont forget to use waterproof mascara;)

No men today Im keeping them all to myself as the house needs some attention:D

Got my weekend cannine guest at the side of me. He is a gorgeous greyhound - very sensitive thanks to a nasty past so he needs lots of hugs:o

My car is in the garage today and will cost me the price of an average family holiday thanks to it failing its mot earlier this week:eek: I dont know what vibes im putting out this week but as well as that my washing machine door latch broke so goodness knows how much that is going to cost when the [STRIKE]cowboys[/STRIKE] repair man comes later today and my work laptop died which i had to replace yesterday. Lets hope the run of three is the end or Ill be sneaking a cheap tea from my dogs stash of tasty pedigree morsels:rotfl: see I am an MSE after all;)

Right best go and get the car booked in for the all inclusive caribean cruise:rolleyes:

Hope you all have a lovely day

    Morning :hello:

Best wishes and congratulations to mioliere's DS2 and DIL-2-B :happylove :kisses2: :smileyhea Love is definitely in the air - an ex-colleague and his partner are having a civil partnership today, too. I hope everything goes well for both the happy couples, and that the weather is good (or at least not too bad!)

We're waiting for news of another colleague, too, whose wife should have given birth by now. She was two weeks late and was being induced on Wednesday night, so with any luck she's not still in labour :o  and we'll have some happy news soon! We've got a sweepstake going on the weight and sex of the baby :D

So hopefully lots of good things happening today.

Am glad it's Friday, and I've got a really quiet weekend ahead. Got plenty of cleaning and tidying to do, and need to finish my overdue reviews, but also need to relax as I'm going to be out literally EVERY night next week (it's a shame it's such a busy week, as I would have loved to meet up with catowen but it doesn't look like it's going to happen :()

Off to Opera Holland Park this evening on those £10 tickets again - it's the last time this season. We are doing what we did last time and taking our own wine - suddenly the cost of a night out starts to look so much more reasonable!

silvercharming - glad Dave's illness wasn't as serious as first thought, and that they caught the peritonitis early.
    ((((Penny-Pincher!!))))
Hugs to anybody else who needs them.

    Love Rzl xx

    Good morning everyone! :hello:

I haven't been around for a couple of days so I hope everyone is okay - will catch up in a minute.
Was woken earlier by the sound of a dropped milk bottle and the milkman saying "B****r!" :D but he did clear up the mess :A Fell asleep again to be woken just now by DS asking if I wanted to go to the loo before he had a shower, so I'm a bit bleary-eyed atm.

We wemt to Bluewater yesterday with DD1 and DGS 14yo as DGS needed some more clothes to come on holiday with. We got him a couple of teeshirts, some jeans and some shoes which look like a posh version of plimsolls - olive green with white toecaps and laces. DD was astonished because she picked the shoes out while he was in the changing room and when she showed them to him he actually liked them - even though mum had found them IYSWIM:D Though he did turn his nose up at the other pair she'd thought he might like  Ah, the joys of shopping for clothes with a teenager - so glad that's something we don't usually have to do any more :p

Will have to do some food shopping today   as otherwise we'll have to go tomorrow, which doesn't bear thinking about.

OOOH, before I forget - Catowen - so sorry but we are going away early on the 13th so I won't be able to meet up - it's such a shame as I'd love to meet you and your LOs :( Will have to persuade DH that we should have another break in Cornwall! I hope you all enjoy your time in London.
Off now to catch up on the threads - (((((HUGS))))) to everyone who needs some :)
Oh and mioliere, hope the wedding goes swimmingly - your favours will look gorgeous on the tables and you'll know they were worth all the hassle! :D

    Best wishes

    Enjoy the opera Rzl,

Had to rush off earlier, phone was ringing.
Oh gone to DS2`s workshop today to clean and finish of a VW camper they have just finished, its due out in the morning so DS2 wants it sorted today.
He seems to be doing a lot of them lately, must be because its nearly time for Van Fest, well, only another few weeks anyway.
I dont know what to do today, don`t feel like doing much of anything really, its miserable here, that drizzly rain that soaks through everything.
O I hope its ok where mioliere is, if theres no sun at least I hope its dry.
Right got to get moving or I`ll be on here all day ....and that will never do.....
I think after running the vac round upstairs I will get the sewing done I didnt finish the other day, then if there`s time do some more knitting so I can get that posted tomorrow. Well that looks like me sorted ;)

    Back later
