so because you've been proven wrong you now want people to only agree with you
MACs specs are poor compared to a PC for the money INCORRECT and that is the simple truth .....just because a pc can look ugly is not a reason i would not buy it.....i want bang for my buck not buying something because it looks good and the specs are ok.....i want something that is damn fast for next to nothing....and ONLY a PC can offer that
Take a look here from a PC perspective and see if he thinks Mac's are overpriced

erm thats call a laptop fool....stop moving the bloody goal posts........when it comes down to specs macs lose...simple
design i do agree MACs look very nice but i am NOT going to pay a large amount of money just because it looks nice and has one cable....jesus
i'm not talking about a laptop.. i'm talking about an aio pc, vs an aio mac..
and you're not having to pay a large amount of money for an imac, when compared to a similarly designed PC.
and no need to call me a fool.. it isn't appreciated, and actually abusive!0 -

jesus are we going to go around in circles all day??? the simple FACT is the top of the range built MAC is SLOWER than a top of the range built PC for the SAME money
it really is that simpleIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

For me personally the expense of a Mac isn't in the money layed out to begin with but the maintainability (i.e. upgrading). I'd rather upgrade a few components at a time rather than have to splash out on a new computer each time. That to me is the meaning of Macs being expensive. Although there are practical reasons I can't have a Mac as a main computer but that's another point altogether and I suppose makes the expense argument moot anyway from my perspective."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

yes, because you don't seem to understand what i'm trying to compare.
i've never tried comparing a box against a mac.. i'm comparing (and i should copy and paste this bit now) like for like, design for design... not just spec..0 -

Thats why I will still consider a MacBook, lappies aren't really up for upgrading anyway. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

i'll agree that there are may be issues in upgrading an imac, but similarly there would be issues, with the dell that i compared at the start..
now, i know i can upgrade ram and hard drive space inside my imac, and graphics, well that would be the difficulty, but i don't play many games, so i'm alright really on that... if you're a gamer, you wouldn't consider a mac....0 -
Dell, HP and a few others are not really upgrade friendly to say the least in the PC side of things. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

BUT you have the option of building your own and making it upgrade friendly....unlike a MAC or a dell or any other mass made PC/MACIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly

I could as I said before buy a copy of OsX and run it on a computer I have built, it's not allowed though. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett
