    Morning all,
feeling so disappointed with myself at the mo. My main aim since joining this site was not to use my credit cards ever again, and definatly not a christmas!! I havent used them since about March/April time and i was chipping away at the balances with this PAD, BUT i have spent on them, about £200 to be exact
I dont know if its the run up to christmas, but i just dont seem to have budgeted properly. Admittedly last year i would have put 5 times the amount onto them but im still so disappointed with myself!!

Feels like i have just been wasting my time since starting this challenge now.
Just paid £2 to CC but now not sure if its even worth doing now...

Ok sorry self pity rant over

you have n't been wasting your time just think that by making the extra payments you have reduced your debt and paid less interest. If you had not been part of this challenge you would have probably spent the money on christmas anyway as well as having the higher level of debt.
  • Afternoon all :santa2: I'm actually in a good mood today!!! It's pay day!! Already typed this out once!!! OOOhh and got a lovely £50 cheque from YouGov today :j :j It's only took me nearly 2 years to get it lol.
Thanks Terri for your suggestions yesterday much appreciated I had a look at the toffee vodka and will be making some of that have got my wethers but forgot to get the vodka :rotfl: never mind will have a go next week DS1's other half will appreciate it!! Well sat and had a chat with the kids about my lack of funds last night got myself quite upset :o but they've been really great about it mind you DS4 is a little sod :rotfl: he ONLY wants one of those touch screen phones for xmas and they're ONLY about £300 ish :p huh to that :rotfl:but DS2 has been great he's got too much money he said (I wish :rotfl: ) and will help out foodwise which I really appreciate even if it did make me cry lol! I've worked out that as I get paid every Thursday with xmas and new years days falling on a Thursday we're getting 2 weeks money on the 22nd so even tho it means a mad dash round shops and will be skint for following 2 weeks I can more or less buy stocking fillers and stuff so am feeling a bit calmer now lol good cry sometimes does you good and its taught me one thing at least never to take getting a bonus for granted again  Next year I WILL be more organised and have savings if it kills me never want to feel this way again!! Oh and DS2 gave me a nice shiny £2 coin for my sealed tin :T Sorry for the long post :o
Anyway have paid £3 to cap 1 cc and added shrapnel to my copper jar and £2 to sealed tin (which is for next xmas)
