Cady you don't have to pay pounds the pennies mount up we have had a PAD of 1p. A lot of people put their odd change in a jar each day and then when you are ready add it up a pay it off a debt it really does help and its surprising where you can fid odd pennies even in the street. I really recommend that you give it a go you have nothing to lose except your debt.

Hi cady ,
I agree ...... There's definitely more month than money ..... Unfortunately ......
For years i always shopped using credit cards ...... That is why i have ended up on this " thread " ...... So i find that my payment a day is helping to gradually chip away at my debts ......and i do mean gradually !
I'm not sure i have any tips to offer ..... except that when i shop now i try and only use cash ..... and to be honest it really does make me think about what i'm buying ...... Whereas in the past when i went food shopping although i looked at the prices of things i would sling everything in my trolley that was buy one get one free .... whether i needed it or not .... and not worry what the total would be as i was paying by credit card ...... Blo*dy stupid really ......
There's just 2 of us here ..... my daughter and i ...... My last main shop was in AUGUST !we are still living off the food we have in the freezer and cupboards from then ........Have obviously had to buy a few small odds 'n' sods since then ...... But since then i've been putting my " main " food money towards my debts
.....
So if possible use cash ...... think carefully about everything you are buying ....... if you have to buy it , is it possible to buy it cheaper elsewhere ......
Ebay ..... selling any items you no longer need may bring in a few more pounds .......
Heating ..... for example ..... try turning your thermostat down ..... Lighting , it use to be like " Blackpool illuminations " here ..... not any more.....
Basically try and save money wherever you can and put it towards your debts ..... Even if it's only pence it all adds up .....
I'm sure other people on here will have plenty of good advice for you ......
Good luck ....

Hiya cady - i dont have much money at the moment either, i usually keep 10ps, 20ps and 50ps (mainly 50ps as they add up quickly and you dont really miss them) in a jar till i have a tenner to go towards my debt. I also do daily clicks, so when they pay out i usually put them towards my debt too. Also if i'm tempted to buy a magazine or sweets i'll go online and transfer that amount to one of my debts too - its money i would of wasted otherwise.
Have just paid £6.71 to my cc - got some pressies paid with vouchers and got cash as my change instead of vouchers or gift cards (got loads with £1 odd on them!).£387.39/£196.46

Hi and welcome to PAD
I've bigged up the 'up your income' thread before and I'll keep on doing it. You'll find everything from daily clicks on cashback sites, cashback from purchases on the lines of quidco and rpoints etc as well as extra pennies from writing online reviews for all sorts of stuff. I definitely recommend it.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
