Have a great day everyone - its blumming freezing here because we are having two of our windows replaced. It seemed like such a MSE idea to have them done now because it was 60% less than the price we were quoted for August!Moving on upSPC #382 ~ £40 banked

Hi all
Just pennies in my pot today as determined to work all day and not get distracted by going into town.
Is it just me or is online banking taking longer for payments to reach their destinations. I am waiting on monies to shift round from different places and its really annoying me as when it all happens then there'll be at least £5 to pay for my PAD! Grrrr.
Hope you're all having a lovely day.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Oh sh*t .... Am very sorry to hear that ...... It's a nightmare when money that you are relying on doesn't " come through ".....
The main thing is not to panic , or you will make yourself ill ..... I'm sure all your friends on PAD will be able to come up with some lovely moneysaving ideas for you , as well you " checking out " the other boards for ideas ....
For adult presents , perhaps you could make them some flavoured vodka ....with toffee .... kola cubes .... sherbet lemon etc in them ....... With some cellephane and a bow .... they could look " well posh ! "Here's the link incase you haven't seen it http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=597080 ....... I'm going to make some at the weekend ...... shouldn't be too expensive if you use shop brand vodka
There's also the " pots of gold " ...... small pots / glasses with Ferrera Roche or other goodys' in them and maybe you could add a lottery scratchcard or normal lottery ticket in with them as well ..... You never know they may split any winnings with you.....
Perhaps if you want to tell us their ages and genders we could come up with a list of Bargain ideas that look expensive ! ......
Food wise ..... Have a look on the moneysaving old style board .....hopefully you will pick up some tips or ideas on there ....... If you tell us what you are looking for in particular...... We can let you know if we find any Bargains anywhere .....
On a positive note ..... Well done for making todays PAD payment .... Even better that you are still off the " dreaded weed "......
ooooooooooooooooooh just had to mention that i saw a picture of Amber and George on another thread ...... They are GEORGEOUS .... Lucky you.....
Keep smiling..... and " don't let the bug*ers grind you down " ......
