Hello peeps
Hope you are all ok .
jo41 - Excellent news that your Egg balance is now under £200 .....Well done, you are doing really well...
flying_fresian - You are being very good , putting some of your birthday money towards your PAD..... I really hope everything turns out the way you would like it to , when you have " your talk " with your other half

Smamfer - No snow here.....
Flower08 - Please don't give up on your PAD ..... even small amounts all add up towards a debt free goal...... Believe me you will not be the only one that has spent money on their credit cards this christmas ...... Like you said , this time last year you would have spent 5 times the amount ..... and you even made a payment today ...... So don't be too hard on yourself .....
Greenbynature - Your cheque from YouGov was very well timed....
It's great that you have expained the situation to your boys .... I would imagine that was a very hard thing to do .
Sometimes it is good for us to have a good cryand feel sorry for ourselves to get things out of our system ......
Your boys sound great , DS2 especially ....offering to help out foodwise .....Your youngest sounds like my daughter .... she want's a " super duper fandangled " new phone as well ! .... She's only got 2 hopes of getting that .... bob hope and no hope !! ......
How old are your furry babes ? Have you had them from pups ?....
missthrifty -Flippin' eck , Ive just noticed in your sig that your overdraft has gone down from £1501 -to £299 .... Well done ...... oooooh nearly forgot my strikethrough button won't work either .....so it's not just yours !
....
paybacktime2008 - Really pleased that you managed to get your new frames free .... You must be really chuffed....
Here's my Good and Bad for today ..
THE GOOD - Added £4 to my pot...
Added 1p to copper pot !...
The Bad - I had a bag of Chocolate peanuts..... and they were bleedin' lovely .....
Still haven't started my Christmas shopping....just cannot get motivated  .... haven't even put any decorations up yet
....i know ..... i've got no excuses i've had the time ....just not the inclination
.... Thought if i wrote this down .... it might " gee " me up a bit  ....

Hi ,
Hope hubby feels better soon.....
I'm sure you have enough on your plate without worrying about the figures ..... Why don't you wait until he's better ...... otherwise you will wear yourself out...
Take care

Morning!
Flower08 -don't give up hun. Getting out of debt is a long hard slog, but we're all making a good start. I've used my next catalogue and credit card but the difference is i've not maxed it out and am repaying before i use it again. My aim is to be able to use credit but sensibly. I'm looking forward to being even more disciplined and organised in the New Year. Keep up with your PaD, don't beat yourself up you've done really well so far hun. Stay with us!!
DT- Terri's right about the figures, they really should be your last concern. It's great to see them but no-one expects you to do them all the time. Try to keep yourself healthy too. Take care.
Right:
£6 to Next
£4 to EPDL (want to get rid of this as it's teeny weeny compared to my other debts!)

£25 to dad
Hugs for everyone today :grouphug: Happy Fridayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!One step at a time0 -

I am slowly knocking it down - just scared I am going to spend a fortune when I go on holiday next week and be all the way back to square one...half of me wishes I hadn't booked such a holiday but it is to visit a friend in sri lanka whose mum is very ill so I think she needs us...and I have always wanted to go!

lol Jo! :rotfl: I have a little routine in the morning. Up at 6.10, make coffee, do little one's sandwiches and then it's a race against time to make my payments and post before the little one gets up!!!
Bifbeff - push the guilt away!! How often do people have chance to go to such a fab place? At least your mindset is in a good place and you will deal with any over spending in the new year. Don't let worries over money marr your hol. You need to focus some of that energy on your friend. Enjoy the opportunity hunOne step at a time0
