Afternoon everyone
Love reading all your posts. No one fails on this site !!!!
Some of us have setbacks and monetary challenges to deal with but we are all winners otherwise we would not be here. We are all dealing with our debts and can support each other. :j
Just been down to bank for my pad. Another £12 to orrible overdraft. Freezing out but walk did me good and feel great that my o/d is under £300.... not long to go now. Just worried about lots of bills arriving to undermine my efforts but for now will just enjoy feeling less in debt
Keep up the good work. (sorry my posts are not very exciting ... still getting to grips with technology of posting and also still have not found out how to do strikethrough.. my button does not work!)

£1.89 for my PAD today which brought me gto a round total of £30 towards the PAD since 1 December which I am chuffed about.
As my Direct debit has gone out for my tesco credit card I decided to pay off the £30 today. Starting again now and my next additional payment will be mid Jan after the Jan direct debit has gone out. will keep adding to my savings account each day and hopefully the additional January payment will be a biggie!!!0 -

hi, i can't take credit for the idea (saw it on one of the threads somewhere on MSE last year - maybe the cheap christmas ideas?) but it is:
get a really big box, fill it up with blown-up balloons, wrap in christmas paper and there you have it - a present that will please smaller children for pennies! my two are 3 and 7 now, and they do like the presents more than the wrapping these days, so this year i am going to bulk out their santa sacks with blown up balloons, rather than have it be a separate present. but i think they would probably still like it. worth a try anyway!
sadly, i *did* overdo my wine consumption a bit last night - felt a bit ropey this morning! however, i now know that i made £35.98 profit from ebay once all fees etc taken off me, so quite pleased with that. haven't actually allocated it to anything yet, will probably do that next week when everything has cleared in and out of my bank account (payday this week).
so payment today just a pound.
getting a bit worried that i have been too ambitious with my target of 10 no spend days this month. only managed one so far. twice this week i have only spent 30p on the sun for the free kids dvd but it still counts as spending. must do better next week!Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

I have been a member for about 3months, and have missed a few surveys just because I haven't had time to sit on the computer sometimes - so you may make something, you may not! Always worth a try thoughDebt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]
