    Morning everyone,
really annoyed as i had to pay that blummin c.tax bill. I rang them and they said if i could prove the days i was there from and till they'd happily reduce my bill but otherwise it would remain the same!!! I offered to pay them my £1 a week and she said they would have to look at my personal circs and if i could afford to i'd have to pay more!!!! Well as it was over 3 years ago i was there there was no chance i was gonna be able to prove the exact dates i was there so i gave in and paid the whole amount:mad: . I'm back into my o/d now and my cat payment still hasnt come out of my account, so its official we're skint!!! At least OH gets paid weekly or we'd be screwed. Gotta pop to town tomoro to pay some money in and my mum owes me £24 so i can hopefully get that from her today. Added 10p to my jar too.

  • Morning everyone.
Went Christmas Shopping yesterday and got some real bargains, so have managed to pay £17 off my Next account and £30 off my Catalogue. That takes my Next account under £600 and my Catalogue is nearly under £1000, so\im really pleased. Also, on my snowballs I have reduced my DFD b y another month to March 2010, which will be DS2's 3rd birthday, which is my mental target - so I might even be able to make it even smaller!

Have a great day. Its horrid here (im at my Mums), and absolutely poured last night!!!

Morning everyone, I've paid my credit card off today, all £2.87 of it. I cut it up so I can't use it, but I have to keep it to pay my etsy fees online as they are in US$ and have to be paid using a credit card. I wish they didn't as I'd like to get rid of it....never mind.

I've taken that money out of £8 travel money I got refunded yesterday for an interview I went to, so I've put the remaining £5.13 in my ISA :).
    Finally bought a home

    Morning all.

Not too much today, just £2.50 off credit card.

Isnt it great to log in to your account and see all those little payments of £2 etc add up to something significant.

    Keep it up fellow DFWs!

  • WOW! Good luck to you, are you going cold turkey, or do you have patches / tablets etc.. I'm glad I never gave up smoking, I know I wouldn't have had the willpower to ever give it up.
I'm doing patches! Got 7 weeks from the docs.
