Morning to you all, managed to pay 9.00 off my credit card today thats a total of 48.00 in three weeks. Get payed tomorrow so hoping to pay a amount of 60.00. Just done washing and found a total of 3.60 so thats gone in savings pot to be emptied at end of month to pay off credit card ive got no idea how much is in ther yet.

My preset payments of £1.25 to 3 card has gone out today.

Since starting this I have paid off £127.10 extra to the normal payments I make and that is in less than two weeks and I haven't even missed it.

Next week I am going to make sure I take pack up everyday and the £3.50 I sometimes spend will go on to BNPL which reverts to 27.9% in 6 weeks.

Thanks again for the wishes about MIL - she is still very poorly but rallying.

My friend just came and gave me £10 for babysitting for her son last week,
Which now takes me under £3000:T
I know it's all in my head but it does make a difference seeing it at £2998.54!
I'm in a really good mood now!

Hi mumzyof2 I don't count my min payments in with the payment a day challenge not sure if anyone else does tho, I only count the extra payments I'm making HTH

Haha, I'm the opposite! My evil loan is with Nationwide, their debt company has hounded me and brought me to tears several times, I pay them £30 a month and I certainly won't pay them a penny more - they can wait. I want to pay off my Tesco cc debt first, they have been so tolerant and nice about my debt that I am happy to pay them over the top every month. My payment is officially £12 pm, but last month I paid them £20 - so have decided that is now my "minimum" payment and the payment a day is going on top. Have put 83p in pot to round it up, I have managed to put £5 away this week, it's not a lot but then I am skint, but it is money I would have frittered away somehow.

Another £2.50 transferred to Barclaycard and another pound in my bag in the drawer so thats a total of £6 towards my barclaycard which I will go and pay at end of month. Also had a text to say my sister is buying my table and chairs stored in my hallway for £80 so when I get that on Friday going to put it on the Barclaycard. Feels so good to see it on my statement and it finally going down.

Quite new to the forum and have been reading this thread but only got round to posting now!

I'm trying to reduce my credit card balance by a payment a day for 30 days as its my smallest debt. I started with the minimum payment of £12.91 on Tuesday and £5 yesterday. Managed to pay a whopping £60 today as I got money back that a friend owed me. My target balance was £500 but thanks to this big payment have reduced it to £400!! Its great to see the balance reducing on a daily basis.
