I was just checking something in the bank account and realised that my mystery shop has been paid so I moved another £32.50 to the ISA. I've also realised that my old little chest freezer is no longer coping with the amount of stuff I keep in it so I'm going to be saving like mad to try to get a bigger one before Xmas. So my goal is to save £200 as soon as possible.

I have been extremely bad and not visited her for a long time until today. I saw that I was no.4 on the list of targets - to clear my debt and I have dont nothing.

I am now back, and determined so will start tomorrow to try to make a payment a day.

Well I've just made the payment and had to come straight back to update my signature as my amount owing has come down again. I love watching this happen and just can't wait to be sub £1000.

  • Thanks ..yes it feels good. Whats not so good tho is I paid it with my debit card and then snapped my debit card up thinking it was my credit card. I'm such an idiot lol Will have to go order a new card tomorrow. Least I can't spend anything out of my bank until the new card arrives :)

I love this site, it keeps me so motivated, I think about every penny I spend now. Wish I'd started ages ago, although not much point thinking that now.

Everyone's doing so well , keep it up :)

Have got an extra $5.20 put aside, :j

Might seem small but I run a pretty tight ship :o and all money is designated for something almost.

    Morning everyone.

WELL DONE BOWSKI (apart from the card malarkey!) :T

It's payday today so i've made payments to all manner of things. This thread has made me realise it's better to pay a little something rather than keep waiting til i've got the full amount, 'cause something always goes wrong!

£4 to the evil loan, £1 to savings and £1.82 to round down cap 1. I haven't put this one in my sig but it's a little extra challenge. Only £282 to go on this one!
One step at a time ;)
