Can anyone confirm if Lidl operates a 'max no of units per customer' policy or not? It's just I'm getting 3 of the players, and I may have a further 4 orders from other people who don't live near a lidl!0

Thanks for all this info, is this the multi region hack only, or does it add support for Hard disk via USB?
Also are there any CF/SD to USB adaptors to allow me to plug a standard USB hard drive into the player without having to introduce a female USB connector to the USB connector on the PCB inside the player?Slapps wrote:this link has the file that u need 2 download on it, u may need 2 rename it as 2 my last post

Hi,
An LG firmware upgrade, as the drive is based on a LG drive... 8900 if I recall... will add this support if required... I've seen a german site showing a step by step guide on how to do this, with this model....
Its sounds like the LG firmware upgrade 'Australian' is far better than the UK firmare... from Targa....
It seams to take along time to read the drive on initial start up and can only cope with a max set number of files....

I do hope they will operate such a policy. However, I have been to ALDI / NETTO / LIDL stores and see single individuals carting away with a trolley load of a bargain item, depriving others from buying them and resulting in a wasted journey.0 -
I personally think a max of 4 should be adequate for something like this - even taking into account that you may be buying for friends etc.
Having said that, theres nothing stopping people simply going back for more later in the day, or the following day - but it should stop a handful of people getting all of them in the first hour.
A quick look on ebay shows these things already being listed in preparation for the offer on saturday.0 -
Just to let you all know, I saw these in the Cardiff store this morning.0
