Sock monkeys!

This is my 1st ever attempt at a Sock Monkey and Im sooo pleased!!! The blister on my finger from the 5hrs of hand sewing was worth it!! (no sewing machine) Sock is from 4pk Asda £3.50. Button eyes and stuffing came to a total of £5.12 for about 1000 mixed buttons and 3 pillows worth of stuffing from Abakhans-Wirral, Flower is £1 pack of 12 card craft stick-ons from The Works!! :j

The price made me laugh, but I did think it might be a good gift for my niece for her birthday. I think I could do it a heck of a lot cheaper!

Having made 2 sock monkeys which cost me a total of £3 for both, I think a kit could be done for under the £5 mark very easily!
