Fellow monkey makers.... Can i ask where you buy your safety eyes from and how much they cost? It works out mine cost 27p a pair delivered and just seeing if i can find anymore. I did get some from a craft shop in town for 15p a pair, but it turned out they were really old stock and the price had gone up alot now x

Dont know about safety eyes but buttons from boyes were £1.20 ish for a pack of 4 large and £1.20 ish for a pack of 6 smaller ones. The works have those assorted wiggly eyes for 99p a packet. If that helps

I've done spidey's mouth now and changed his eyes etc he now has a bag too!
Just need to sort him out a hat and scarf and he's nearly there then.
I love him sooooooooooooo much! I've decided he isn't going anywhere but to my house so he's being given to my brother cant bear to part with him as I think being my first he is extra special

I have only just stumbled across this thread whilst looking for something else.

I will have to read all the pages now, look at some pics and find a pattern as I am sure my 11 year old would love to make one.

One charity shop in town sell all clothes for £1 so I may have to look for a brightly coloured fleece and make one from that.

I have just read all the way through the flying pig craft thread and I am making a few monkeys to sell at the school fair. I really havent got the energy to read all the 162 pages, sorry guys! Is there a guide of care/saftey tips you give your customers when selling a monkey?
