A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

These are all my sock monkeys that are made at the moment (please excuse bad photography). They are all made by using socks in size 4-7 apart from the two stripey ones (green and blue) that were made using 12.5- 3.5. I have 4 more to do for my son and his friends who are 12!!! but they want one. I will post pics once done as the first grey one is so cute as he is small and neat and made from socks 4-6.5 from Sainsburys.(age 11 yrs).

Sugar and Maria - both monkeys are great!!! Did you use very long socks Maria??? Your monkey has nice long limbs, nice for a child to carry him by!!!! I bought some camoflage socks today in the Next Clearence shop to make one for my boyfriend!!! Will start it tonight I think.

I've just finished my stripey monkey and i'm quite happy with this one. I prefer using the toe as a mouth instead of the heel. There are still things I would change next time but its getting easier now and I don't feel so frustrated with it :D:D:D

Shelley - he's lovely. What fab colours!! The toe definately works better I think!! Did you do him by hand or by machine in the end??
