These are all my sock monkeys that are made at the moment (please excuse bad photography). They are all made by using socks in size 4-7 apart from the two stripey ones (green and blue) that were made using 12.5- 3.5. I have 4 more to do for my son and his friends who are 12!!! but they want one. I will post pics once done as the first grey one is so cute as he is small and neat and made from socks 4-6.5 from Sainsburys.(age 11 yrs).

Sugar and Maria - both monkeys are great!!! Did you use very long socks Maria??? Your monkey has nice long limbs, nice for a child to carry him by!!!! I bought some camoflage socks today in the Next Clearence shop to make one for my boyfriend!!! Will start it tonight I think.0

Dora you must be working flat out!!! So many people to make them for, it must be a full time job!!! They look great. Lovely bright colours.0 -
I've just finished my stripey monkey and i'm quite happy with this one. I prefer using the toe as a mouth instead of the heel. There are still things I would change next time but its getting easier now and I don't feel so frustrated with it
