Chatty your monkeys are soooooo cute and loveable...where did you get the union jack socks...and where's the pattern for the jumpers.?....love them!!

Fab monkeys everyone! Chatty, I love the little jumpers and dresses! I'm having a break from monkeys this week, cross stitching some Christmas cards instead but have got 3 more to get done in time for Christmas. Properly gave away 2 monkeys last weekend for the first time, quite sad to say bye to them!

the monkey are mine and i can't remember where i got the union jack socks. i recently had a 4 day xmas shopping spree and went in that many dif shops. i have racked my brains cos i want more of them. i have ex pat friends all over the world and they've all been sent one for xmas but now i've ran out.

and i dont have a knitting pattern for anything i knit, i just make it up as i go along. next time i do one i'll take note of how many st i cast on and when i decrease etc. I've been knitting dresses and jumpsuits for example but just guess at everything. if its not right then it just gets unpicked.

so sorry for not being more helpful

Lol, i won't quote this time!! They really are great! I only have one ball of wool and have made the same colour hats and scarves, i really should invest in a new ball for some outfits! Thanks for the idea
