jetty if your passing a charity shop just pop in ask if they have some odd balls of wool. all mine are left over balls of wool from a friend who does lots of knitting and i have seen some in charity shops before now.

also if anybody needs needles also ask in charity shops, they dont normally have these on display, maybe due to the safety factor i dont know.

Ok there you are now i feel better as i may have helped somebody:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Awww, yeah, ya helped me! I didn't think about asking charity shops! :D

Hi I know this question wasn't directed to me but if its any help, I use 16mm googly eyes from ebay. It was trial & error, I ordered a couple of other sizes first but they didn't look right. (I just need to find other things to make now to use them up ). Anyhow I got 40 eyes for £1.99 free P&P

I seem to have an obsession with knitting... however I know some of us are better at knitting than sewing!

You can download a Patons pattern free here. All you have to do is register with a username, password and email address (no other personal details required) and then the download is a free PDF file.

I need to make another one with suckers for my Aunties car window! Will post a pic once I finally get it done (possibly Christmas Eve!!)
