Cheap Airport Parking: Luton Airport hints, tips and local parking

I did say from Luton main station - this is where the cheap (esp at weekends) and secure NCP multi-story is located.
Sorry I missed the point about it being Luton main station, because it makes no sense whatsoever.
The parking at peak time may be cheaper than the Parkway station, but pm Thursday to pm Monday is £16.60 against £20.60, so saving £4, but you then spend £9 (£4.50 per person each way) to get to the airport instead of £2.50, so £6.50 more each?
And you then have to get a train and a bus, to the airport rather than just a bus.

Will use Parkway next time then.0

I'm thinking of using Luton Airport Parkway train station car park next week (Friday, 2pm-ish) however I've never used it before.
Could anybody who used it recently comment about the likelihood that I will NOT get a space available if I turn up next Friday at 2pm?
I know the 1st comment (and several others) say there are loads of spaces, but since then the situation might have changed (perhaps due to the announcement in this forum). I would not like to turn up next Friday and realise I am going to loose my flight due to not having a pre-booked car parking space, that'a all. Thanks in advance.0 -
There are always plenty of spaces in the car park. I drive past it daily on Airport Way and can see the car park roof from the road which looks down on the carpark. Only the odd car parks up there as most people like to park inside.0

hi there
I'm looking to park at Luton airport next year (first time i've ever used this car park) does anybody have any tips i need to know in advance and does anybody have a promo code for parking.
Thanks all xx0 -
last weekend we flew out from Luton and used a local valet parking company called Smart airport parking smartlutonparking.co.uk after seeing their ad on google. we paid £24 for over 3 days parking which seemed great value as the other quote we got from comparison sites link looking4parking was over £40 minimum. Had absolutely no problems with Smart, their drivers come across as professionals, met us at the time we arragned and brought the car back without delay on our return. I was expecting some crazy surcharges but no, they even paid a pound for us on exit. I would advise when looking for parking at airports, use google or bing maps to find local companies as i've felt these parking comparison sites are a rip off in reality.0

Well I just did that and their address is a rough council tower block in Luton. I would want to know exactly where my car was parked as anyone can say the car was parked securely.0 -
I have just checked on the luton Airport website as parking as I am considering going on holiday for 10-14 days in september.
The prices seem a little odd, as booking 1-15 sept in the long stay carpark is showing as £47.99, but if you get a quote for one day less it is showing as £110 and one day more it is £126.... can the two week price be right? it just seems a bit to good to be true.0 -

Also, would that post be spam by any chance?
A friend's car silently vanished from outside his house 2 weeks after he used valet parking leaving them the keys. Suggest whenever you use valet parking, give a work or relative's address. Even then DVLA could reveal it if a pretext is given. And electronic keys can be duplicated too.0
