Good Morning
I've booked a last minute holiday flying from Luton on Saturday 22 June. I need to be at the airport for about 5am 'ish. Does anyone have any updated information on parking at Luton please?

I have tried some websites but the hotels seem to be quite expensive compared to Gatwick, anyways help would be appreciated.
Sorry, too late to be of use to you, but answering anyway in case anyone else has the same question.
Premier Inn charge parking at £4.50 per day (the night you stay in the hotel is free). A taxi from there to the airport is £8. So parking for a seven day holiday, all in, costs £47.50. Which compares very favourably to most of the other parking options, and there's no shuttle bus involved, which can only be a good thing as far as I'm concerned!
Particularly if you get the Premier Inn room on one of their special offers at £29.0 -

Hi,
Am flying from Luton on Friday and cant pre book (dont get paid until Friday). Appears that the one near the train station is my best bet. Note that is now owned by Apcoa. Just want to check that is all as described as again previous responses ore from quite some time ago.
Does anyone know if have to pre-book or if will get the weekly rate if just turn up etc?
Any help much appreciated.

Hi All,
My first MSE post.
Wishing to park my car at Luton Airport Parkway train station car park for a few days (June 2014), for the first time, I was slightly confused about the process. Posts here not recent and online searches gave pre-booking / telephone options... A pre-visit to the car park (by foot) did not come up with any additional information (I could not find any references to: pre-booking process, location codes, non pre booking process etc) although I did see a "Pay On Foot Tariff" Sign, which included: Daily£7.4, Daily (off peak, after 10:00) £3, Sat / Sun £2, Weekly £33, Monthly £127.7 PLUS other longer timescales.
Not being an expert on the process, but this is what I did, it seemed to work:
1. Drive to car park (Saturday - Day 1). Take ticket at barrier.
2. Park car (the instructions say do not leave ticket in car)
3. Return to car park (Monday - Day 3). Insert ticket into payment machine and payed £11.40 (£2 + £2+ £7.4 I assume).
4. Inserted ticket at exit barrier. Machine swallowed ticket so I did not have receipt of payment (I did take a photo of it (which had payment details printed onto it) just in case because there are signs stating leaving car park without payment = £85 fine).
Note: For assistance, there is a manned office at the car park 0800 - 2000 with help button / telephone number to call outside these hours - not tested.
I hope that is helpful,

We used Swift Airport Parking meet and greet in May, worked out the cheapest parking option and no faffing with transfer buses, was £39 for 8 days.
Drive to the short stay car park for drop off and pick your car up from the same place, additional £1 to validate your car park ticket but really easy once you've done it once. Would definitely use it again.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

When a friend used a meet and greet parking service many years ago, his car disappeared from in front of his house a few weeks later. The possibility of cloned keys did spring to mind.0

The Parkway car park website says you can pre-book the multi-storey parking at £31 per week, but nowhere does it allow you to pre-book online.
Talked to someone at Apcoa who said you pre-book it on the ticket you pick up when you enter. Bearing in mind your return flight is likely to arrive at a later time you need to add an extra day's parking cost for your week. Still better value than anything else I think.
The bus fare is £1.50 each way but £2.50 return, if memory serves.
Hope that helps.0
