Cheap Airport Parking: Luton Airport hints, tips and local parking

Hi, has anyone used Luton Parkway car park recently (or regularly) and could comment on likely availability if we arrive on a weekday afternoon, to park for 5 ish days? Worried in case we arrive and it's full as we are taking a flight.
Also, whether any advantage/saving to booking online in advance, compared to just arriving at the car park - will it be possible on site to book and pay for 5 days or is the system that you just take an entry ticket and then put that in the machine when you exit 5 days later?
I read further up in this thread that they allow a 4 hour grace period for flight delays - can anyone say if this is still valid? If we pre-book we have to state a return time and just worried in case of flight delay or delays getting bags etc.
This car park seems to be the cheapest for flying from Luton as far as I can see...
Many thanks.0 -
We used it last August arriving on a Saturday and leaving it for two weeks. Used it a few years now and never had an issue with availability although not sure how a Saturday would compare to a weekday arrival. It is very handy for the airport with the bus from the station and believe a tram service is opening soon if not open already. In terms of grace period I messed about with times when prebooking and it seemed to work that the price didn’t change unless you went past a full 24hr period or midnight into the next day…can’t remember which but I prebooked to give me as much as I could get without increasing the price.2

The last couple of times I've checked the Luton Aiport Parkway rate was very similar to the airport longstay. This was for roughly week long stays so I don't know if it works out cheaper for shorter stays.
Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -

its double the price of the the closest car park to the terminal booked direct with Luton airport
the same car park at Luton costs more booked through any of the 3rd parties0 -
I've used Trinqoo (via Quidco for extra cashback) at Heathrow and Gatwick but the two it's offering for Luton in June don't have very good reviews. Anyone have experience with Quick Park or Express Meet & Greet. The official Mid Term parking also seems to have some shocking Google reviews.Signature on holiday for two weeks0
