I found it on a Waitrose recipe card but it did say to use roast beef...I cheated and have used slices of beef, it doesn't taste as good but I still like it.
Made a beetroot, feta cheese and broad bean salad the other week. Now that was lovely! :j0 -
Have found out which agency rung me yesterday and where I will be working for the rest of the week, its about a 5 min walk from home:D so if I get an hour for lunch I will come home. Aparently they want a fast accurate typist, so I am just about to put the desktop pc on and have a practice:eek: I don't type as fast on the laptop and have not used the desktop for months.
OH is home tonight, I told him we were having tuna pasta bake and he asked if I could make it wetter as he says my pasta bakes are a bit dry  so I will just do pasta and tuna and swamp it with sauce :rotfl:got some dough in BM to do some garlic breadwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Well it`s persisting down again today, and has`nt stopped even for a minute, I had planned salad for tonight but not so sure now

I am ok with it, but OH pulled a face earlier when he asked me what we are having, and I said salad, hmmm bit cold for that is`nt it said he, O well he can eat it or starve, I am in that sort of mood tonight
I am not and never have been into the different meal for everyone thing, its eat it or go without in this house, it comes from when I worked full time when DS1 and 2 were still at home, and idiot me did everything instead of getting them to help, my own fault, no wonder I was always worn out, I lost count of the times I fell asleep on the bus home and missed my stop:eek:
I am a bit  tonight, and I dont know why, I have no reason to feel like that ....Ah well nuff sed about that, got it off my chest now so
Off for a  with a friend later so that should perk me up a bit.
Thanks for listening it means a lot :A

Oh it's something probably most people here wouldn't find interesting, it's about a herbicide called aminopyralid. It's so potent that - how to put this politely? - it passes through cows and horses unscathed. Then when gardeners put infected manure on their crops, they all die. It hasn't happened to me personally, but I got involved in campaigning and I've been trying to get the national media involved for ages. Then someone on greenfingered suggested a programme and they're really interested, so fingers crossed!0

Evening all. I'm so tired it's not even funny. I've been completely off the map busy today with work, and I've come home and still have more to do
The evenings fly by so quickly as well - being out of the house from 6am to 6pm really gets tiring after a while. Anyway, leftovers tonight. The sausages from last night's toad in the hole are going to be cut into chunks and put with the other half of the tin of beans we didn't eat, some onions, mushrooms, garlic, and BBQ sauce to serve with a jacket potato. I must start that soon, or I'll be doing the washing up at ten pm...
(((hugs to those in need))) Oh, I want a hot bath. Have a nice evening everyone.

Evening everyone
i`ve finally managed to catch up with everyone and it`s now time to get back up off my behind and sort out the kitchen.
Mrs Mix - i would go with squiddly`s idea and set up a webcam or something on the window sill pointing into the garden, that way you will know if anything happens whilst you are out.
Caterina - Happy Birthday :bdaycake:
Suesy Sue - Enjoy your new home!
Silver Charming - I bought ssome wool and knitting needles a couple of days ago, in a few days i hope to get the chance to sit down and work out what to do with them
Right i really must get in the kitchen as i won`t get much sleep tonight cos i`ll be back at wo*k in a few hours
Have a lovely evening peeps.

Evening all,
Happy birthday...is it Caterina or Csarina....here are two cakes just in case...:bdaycake::bdaycake:!
Not much done here to-day...went shopping this morning for first time this month...bought some Lidl ham which we had for dinner and it was very nice, so will buy again...we have quite a lot of cabbage ready to eat in the garden, so good dinner was had by all!
Very dismal here to-day, misty rain and very heavy, no washing, no gardening, not much of anything in fact.
Hugs to those of you not feeling well and welcome to all newbies.
