Troo - yes, the weather is rubbish today. It's "sit in front of the fireplace with a good book" weather! I was going to wash sheets and towels today, but I guess that will have to wait until tomorrow as I don't want them all over the house today drying. Possibly tonight. I'll have to do a load of shirts and trousers today, so they can dry on the hangar tripod and it doesn't take up a lot of space.
What to do for dinner though? Forgot to take anything out. Having egg mayo at lunch (DS's favourite) so can't really have eggs tonight as well. MUST get the menu plan updated and started again! So much easier!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -
:hello: Good morning!
Happy Birthday Caterina!:bdaycake:
After I have walked Penny I am off to have my hair done so you won't recognise me when I get back!
We woke up today to find out we have a leak from the bathroom (shower) coming through the ceiling into the kitchen so a hefty repair bill coming up  In the meantime the shower cubicle is out of use, we have a shower in the bath so that will have to do. We might take advantage of the fact that if a new ceiling needs to be put in then we will change the lighting to something more energy saving.
Lunch is leftover pasta bake and dinner will be fish pie from the freezer.

Hope those with coughs and colds feel better soon.

Morning all,
Wet and miserable here too, I am getting seriously fed up with b****y rain  , was going to get in the garden for an hour, but thats off, luckily I got most of my washing done yesterday so will not need to do any today.
Went up the woods last night with our dog and my mums, they had a mad hour running aroung chasing squirrels and came home and slept for the rest of the evening.
My dad had his op yesterday and they have found a lump in his prostate (sp), so he now has to have that removed and sent away for tests, hopefully thay have found it early enough.
DD and I have decided that we will go over to Bognor (squigly, will wave at your girls) to go to the craft shop, and spend the afternoon crafting together. I had a bit of a wobble last night thinking about how quickly she is growing up, and will not wanting to be hanging round with her mum for too much longer, so I need to make the most of it now.
Going to do a lasagne for tea, and will make up a chilli for Tomorrow night, mince was on bogof
. Will get a french loaf while I am out and make up a garlic bread and we will have salad.
My OH is at my mums putting down her new oak flooring (:D Aussie), and keeps offering to drive everywhere, I can get him put on my insurance for £38.50 for the rest of this year, which I might do, but my car is a lot newer than his van and I am scared
.
wannabe sybil its mioliere's son thats getting married, she married years ago (unless she is lying and has been living in sin for years
), but the stress is the same and I am sure she will appreciate your concern. xx
Hugs to smoky, jayward, beth, candy and her dad xx
Hilstep have a great holiday xx
Taplady, its probably best that you take another day off, better than it spreading xx
Happy Birthday Caterina
Have good days all xx0 -
I restarted the pc and everything's back to normal

Happy Birthday Caterina :bdaycake:
The WM has just finished, the towels can dry over the bannister upstairs. I need to get the piggies out into their runs (they won't get wet, they have rooves lol), the rabbit can help me in the kitchen
I have one load of handwashing to do, and a bit of ironing.
Our Virgin box is playing up so a man-that-can is coming out sometime before 1pm to fix it. I have no plans to go out today, but the minute I found out I HAD to stay in, I felt trapped indoors - weird
It'll be an extremely healthy eating day today, I have tons of salad leaves and cherry toms ready
I am a coffee bean0 -
Morning all
It's not raining here yet! Will stick the washing out in a mo, that's bound to start it off. Little cat is doing a really good job of running around manically and winding big cat up
.
Hugs to all who need one this morning especially those of you with hurting children and friends.
KATHY try and find some time for you. I agree you should delegate jobs to others.
HILSTEP St. Lucia sounds lovely, enjoy.
I have counselling today but might have to cancel it if I can't find someone to look after DS for 1 1/2 hours. Will try and catch my neighbours in a mo.
Tea is chicken and salad. House looks a lot cleaner today as I had a good clean and tidy yesterday.
Have a good day all.

I am getting myself worked up about all this and keep trying to take deep breaths and think 'what will be, will be' but that's not me! I'm worried I'll forget something really important and I hate that feeling.
See now I think your just hankering after me sending my home help over again to assist you this week
ok here you go but I want this one back - good grief the last one is still doing the rounds of OS girls
hes quite good at favours too:rotfl:

Throwing it down here - its that really fine rain that soaks you through:D so panda puppy has had to contend with a quick wee in the garden. Mind you I took him to my mum and dads yesterday and we walked him by the canal for 2 hours so hes ok i reckon. He goes home today and ill really miss him  mind you my GBF is delivering his greyhound to be looked after this weekend so my exercise regime will have to continue:cool:
Enjoy your day all and happy birthday Caterina (where are you

I've now got a mental image of Troo and the bunnies playing in the kitchen...a bit like a Disney film.

Morning all, my none existant plans for today have been shot to pieces. My uncle who has been having hospital treatment isn't well and has had to go straight to hospital. My aunt has taken him, so I've offered to go and help out in their shop. My mum is already there, so I'll go and make it family affair.
Happy birthday Caterina.
Love to all the Twit. :grouphug:
PS has anyone seen Gingham Ribbon's new avatar......Ma Ingles has visited Anne Summers. :rotfl:

DH has to go to Hull today so has offered to give me and DD(14) a lift so we can have a look around the shops.
Very moneysaving as he is going anyway so time and petrol is "free!"
Just about to grab the shower before any of my DDs beat me to it.
Hester
Have you entered that competition yet?
Happy Birthday Caterina:bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake:
While I am in Hull might look for duvet covers and rugs that fit DDs wishes for her new room in student house and treat dd(14) to lunch while trying to keep to low carb myself.
Hugs to everyone and see you later."This site is addictive!"

Morning all!
I always feel lazy when I read this thread and see how early you girls get up! But the sleeping is becoming difficult now so I suppose I have an excuse and will probably be joining you before 7 when LO arrives!
I fancy a morning cup of tea or coffee but we are out of milk which leaves me with instant cappuccino mix - which tastes horribly watered down and lets that horrible chloriney taste through. Not sure whether to try de-scaling the kettle, filtering the water or both! Lodger has just gone out though (to get the rent, hoorah!) so hopefully he will be back with some milk.
Haven't got a lot on today. Everything seems to be happening on Thursday this week instead. When I was speaking to DF's mum yesterday I realised I only have between 5 and 10 weeks to go until the baby is born! We don't even have a cot yet! Whoever said the third trimester goes slowly was lying!!I don't believe and I never did that two wrongs make a right0
