HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATERINA0 -
Morning all  I'm still in a bit of a brooding mood courtesy of OH's former nightmare. It's just frustrating because he can't do anything at the moment because his solicitor is on holiday. know it will sort itself out, but it doesn't make it less frustrating.
He's been trying to sort out his documents for permanent residency here - not that we are planning on staying, but even though he has been resident here for ten years, proving that isn't easy when you are applying to certain funding bodies for academic money. It's bizzare that residency documents can make it easier to leave the country! Still, his replacement ID card has now arrived in Germany, so that's one less thing to hunt for.
My boss was being strange yesterday, he thought I'd deleted some stuff, but it was just on a different server
 - and my bodyguard (our lovely director of graduate studies - I now work in his office space) was very confused at his paranoia. I guess you just get used to it if you've been living with it for four years.
happy birthday caterina
Nelski - you mean he'd clean the windows too
elona - enjoy your day in Hull
Squiggly - hugs for you and your DD

Morning everyone,
I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. DH had the day off. We sorted out our tax & we get a good refund this year. :T I made some Tomato & Passionfruit jam yesterday which sounds odd but it's actually quite nice. I'm going to try Passionfruit Jam later in the week or the weekend. I got more sugar today.
OS also had the day off and he was playing on my computer all afternoon.
Did some baking today. Made a cake, bread & Benny's dog food. It's so wonderful having the supermarket at the other island. I even managed to get a few whoopsies.
I've made some headway into my dress and finally worked out what the pattern meant.
I'm having DGS tomorrow & Thursday nights so unfortunately I'll have to put in on hold again. Drat.
DH not home yet, he rang before and should be home on the 8pm ferry. I can't believe the Olympic Games are here already. I love watching most of it.
But swimming & track are my favs. It's drizzling with rain here atm. Started about 1 hour ago.
Caterina Happy Birthday
<hugs> to those not well, or down etc. Hope you all have a lovely day. ByeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

last time I went to thorpe park I booked tickets online with last minute.com a few days before - you just take the e-mail they send straight away to the cabin at the side and you don't have to queue at the entrance. It works out cheaper too - not as good as 2-for-1 but you can often get at least 25 % off even if you don't book a week in advance.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
wannabe sybil its mioliere's son thats getting married, she married years ago (unless she is lying and has been living in sin for years
