Hi
Just getting back into using the boards again and thought I'd say hello here!! I'm a 26 year old single girl, who lives alone and works full time at the local university.
I've been dealing with some quite major trauma the last 5 years and having finally managed to put it behind me and I have decided that 2008 is going to be the year I make a big difference and start doing things for me, starting with beating my debt :j hoping to draw some inspiration from all the lovely positive people on this site

Hey all,
Think I will reintroduce myself as it must have been about 10 months since I was on here posting though I still get the money tips emails so try and keep on top of things!
I'm 26, have been in a new relationship for 8 months now (hence falling off the radar!) and am planning on sorting my house out next year to sell and move on so need to sort my finances out again.
2008 will be the year I stop relying on my overdraft and credit card and become fully grown up and responsible!
Thanks all,
LauraWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Have popped over her from DFW a few times, but have finally gone for it and...bought a slow cooker! Tons of recipes on here, so I'm looking forward to getting started.

Hello all,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year when it comes.
Although I have been reading your posts for a while, I have just plucked up the courage to get involved by posting myself. It is addictive though!
I lam 31 and live with my fiance, and we moved to a new house earlier this year, so a lot of our earnings are spent on our mortgage. Also saving for our wedding in July - going to New York with a few family members and friends, so expensive, but not as expensive as a big do at home. We just about get by each month, but want to be able to save money for the future so trying to reduce costs where possible.
I have enjoyed reading all the posts here and everyone seems really friendly and chatty. Thanks for all the tips so far and I hope I can give something back in the future.

Hi all
I thought I would say hello because I lurk on this site everyday but rarely post because I don't think I have anything constructive to offer anybody
I've joined a few challenges to feel more part of everything and also to motivate myself to save/make some money.
I'm 24, live with my OH and we're in big bad debt so I'm trying to get on top of things. I don't work at the moment as i'm currently suffering depression/anxiety.
Hayley x:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy
