  • Hi, I've been lurking for ages and ages, but have eventually posted! I'm a junior consultant in an IT company, married, no children yet.

Have always been into cooking from scratch, meal planning, and so on, but really want to up it a notch, especially as I've just found out I'm at risk of redundancy.

Really love this board, so just want to say thanks to everyone.

    Hi,
I've been lurking for a while but finding this forum so helpful and inspiring thought I'd say hello.

I'm 30 (today boo hoo), married, with a DD,3 and DS, 20 months. I used to be good at cooking from scratch, baking, knitting, x stitch etc but since DS was born have gone more towards eating out, takeouts and mcdonalds.

Am now trying to get more organised, have a cleaner, tidier house and spend less money on groceries. I'm going to keep my receipts for February and then join the budget list for march.

thanks for everyone's great suggestions, really keep me going.
I'm playing all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order!

I've been hanging around for a little while so I may aswell introduce myself...

My name is Sarah. I'm 20 and I live with my fiance and our 3 dogs and cat. I'm not working at the minute due to a very stressful period in my life (my brother was murdered almost 2 years ago and I had an mc almost a year after) but I'm feeling ready to get back into it so I'm looking for jobs.

Animals are a huge part of my life and I don't know what I would do without my 4 :) My OH is talking of adding a great dane to our brood. Not likely seeing as we already have a german shepherd and a mastiff ;)

Nice to meet you all :)

I've been lurking on the OS board for a while but have just joined the Flylady challenge so think it's about time I introduced myself!

Hi, I'm Chloe, I'm 25 years old and I currently live on my own. I am moving at the start of June to a bigger house and my boyfriend will be moving in with me (finally, we've only been together 7 years!)

I'm currently saving up money to one day use as a deposit on a house so hope to free up more money to save each month using all the useful tips I can find here :D

Sarah - it sounds like you've had a really rough time over the last few years :( Good luck with the job hunting and the animals - I don't think I could manage that many large dogs!

  • Hello

I have been reading these forums for ages and have got hundreds of useful tips and recipes, I thought it was time I registered so I could share some of my own. That and I finally got my own laptop this week so don't have to wait for my husband and oldest son to get off the desktop before I can get a look in!

I'm Claire I've got 2 children 13 and 4, both with special needs and a part time job, which keeps me pretty busy. I try my best to cook from scratch every day which is a job in itself as everyone eats something different and at different times, although I'm trying to remedy this.

I also chose buying my Macbook instead of getting a cleaner so I'm hoping the flylady thread will help me get more organised and that I will not come to regret my decision:)
