Thanks for the tip about push pops, got some today as well as:
Cadburys fabulous fingers 2 packs for £1
Disney storybooks - Frozen, Peter Pan and Beauty and the Beast (they also had Monsters University)
Winnie-the-Pooh storybooks - 3 types including one about Eeyore's birthday that I thought would be a good birthday gift.

Also saw Horrid Henry books, lots to choose from.

My daughters (aged 4 and 6) love the 'skip balls', we got a couple a while ago and they still have them in store - ball on a loop and plastic string that goes around your ankle.

I'm finding that really good bargains are few and far between these days but yesterday I spotted some Revlon Colourstay Nail Enamel in Cayenne shade. That's what I call a bargain as it's £7.99 in Superdrug!

I've used these for the past few months after admiring them in the bathroom at my daughter's. I really like them and they last well for the money - I turn the sticks upside down every week.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Today's discoveries at Trongate, Glasgow Poundland:

Sharing bags of "20% Extra Free" promo packs of Walkers Cheese & Onion 120g* (2 for £1, also in Ready Salted), Cadbury's Dairy Milk Winter Wonderland (75p each, assume it's a clearance line in that store only, not seen those in other branches), Branston Spaghetti Bolognese Tins 395g 2 for £1 (also Ravioli), Copella 100% Pure Orange Juice With Juicy Bits 1.25 litres, Dutch Stroopwaffels 260g (they're back!), my usual Liberte Yoghurts (Pear, 4 x 100g pack), Baxters Scotch Broth Soup 380g 2 for £1 (also in Minestrone and Tomato), Horticare Houseplant Pour & Feed 1 litre.

Also saw B Blonde Lightening Spray http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/512MhA3octL.jpg Tension Band (for resistance working out, not sure how good it is), and Twinings Blackcurrant or Zesty Lemon teabags (20 teabags) boxes.
