"Outdoor Life" Waterproof Spray 200ml, for shoes, camping/hiking gear. They're not often in Poundland so I buy them when I see them.

Various men's novelty socks including Monopoly (one was the Monopoly tycoon behind bars, best not buy that one for someone you like!) and Big Bang Theory "Bazinga!" or BBT logo.

Oh, also, there are packs of 4 x mini bedding plants at the front of the store, past the tills. Some were rather forlorn looking (I got Mixed Antirrhinum).

Today at Trongate, Glasgow Poundland: 3 x 395g of Branston Spaghetti In Tomato Sauce, 3 Fox's Biscuits for £1 (I chose Crinkle Crunch Ginger 200g, Crinkle Crunch Butter 200g and Crunch Creams Mint Choc Flavour 168g. More varieties available). 4 x 42g pack of Kit Kat Chunky Double Caramel.

Wish they'd water the plants. The ones in mine are more or less dead. I'm not going to pay £1 for them in that state!

I did ponder asking if I could take them off their hands for 10p each, but the huge Saturday queue and likely public rejection put me off!

Stop this cruelty to defenceless plants, Poundland! I might sneak in there with a water flask next time I pass.

Yes I was thinking "if they were 50p, I could probably revive them" but they weren't...Also it's daft having them past the tills. If they had been in front of the tills, I might have bought some when they were alive!
