I think people should add the products' weight since poundland and similar shops always make the products smaller0

I think people should add the products' weight since poundland and similar shops always make the products smaller
For example, those Baxters 380g Scotch Broth tins are not the usual "full size" as they say "Special Pack" on them, but are also sold at B&M for 69p each currently http://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/baxters-scotch-broth-380g-25813 Still cheaper at Poundland 2 for £1. I think the full size tin is 400g: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco-price-comparison/tinned_soup/baxters_favourites_scotch_broth_soup_400g.html (75p, 4 for £3, cheapest currently).
The Branston Spag Bol 395g is being sold in the same size at other supermarkets: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/tinned_pasta/branston_spaghetti_bolognese_395g.html (currently 2 for £1.50 is the cheapest offer). It's 2 for £1 at Poundland.
Liberte Yoghurt (Pear) 4 x 100g, same size as Poundland, is £1.50 in Asda, down from £2.39: http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Yogurts/Liberte_Strained_Greeky_Style_Yogurt_on_a_Pear_Layer_4x100g.html
The Copella 1.25 litre juice is also identical to those being sold in supermarkets. I'd be very surprised if it was watered down as jenniewb is saying below! £2.25 at Sainsburys: www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/gb/groceries/copella-orange-juice-with-juicy-bits-125l
TL;DR: Be aware what offers are out there. If Poundland was a rip-off, I wouldn't shop there.0 -

Totally agree- and if possible, the % of water added as I've noticed differences with some products being bulked up with water rather than products. I then heard from someone else that some products are made especially for Poundland/99p shops....etc rather than being surplus stock for stores elsewhere.0 -

Trongate, Glasgow Poundland had tubes (not bottles) of "Mucky Pup" Shampoo, two varieties and a dry shampoo variety (in a spray if I remember right). Didn't get a close look at the mls, sorry. Also, "Tree Frog" Nanoblock packets.
Poundworld (Argyle Street) is selling NYC liquid eyeliner (my favourite) High Definition pens in Black. Not sure about the pens as I prefer brush eyeliners, but will give it a try. http://project-swatch.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/nyc-high-definition-liquid-felt-tip-eyeliner.jpg £2.99 in Superdrug.
A review here http://www.aprettyobsession.com/2012/06/nyc-high-definition-liquid-eyeliner.html and other beauty blogs say it is a little lighter than expected, though it also comes in an "Extra Black" shade, not sure if Poundworld sell this.
They also have Pickled Onion and Curry (!) varieties of Burton's Fish N Chips.
Poundworld also does the 380g tins of Baxters soup 2 for £1. In there they had Chicken Broth, maybe Poundland will get that in stock also.0 -
At the Clumber St store, Nottingham, I found a few bargains over the past few days.
Box of 20 Oat So Simple Golden Syrup flavour porridge. Usually in poundland it's around 5/6 sachets for a quid, so thought 20 was really good!!
200g box of Quality Street
Revlon Nail Varnish - couple of different varieties, I got two of the "brilliant strength" ones - they are £7.99 in Boots!!
They also had some Calvin Klein eyeshadows and lip gloss pots.
And also L'oreal nail varnishes (I think the Colour Riche ones), which are around £5.0 -

Drumstick and Love Hearts candles 85g. Bouquet Zoflora 120ml (makes 4.8 litres), also Hyacinth.

I was in Poundland today and PoundWorld yesterday and found some good buys, in PL and PW Brannigans crisps (amazing) usually 75p a bag in local shop - 5 packs of Roast beef and Mustard & Ham and Pickle. In PW trio NYC nail polish packs full sized 14ml, pretty good colours as well. Also got some great NYC lipgloss. They also had Schwarzkoft (SP?) Blonde dyes (poundworld) and Live colour XXL Hypnotic Red and Rich Red (and an orangey one but never bothered looking at the colour). think the blonde was something like champagne Blonde and the other I can't remember (think an Ash blonde type).
Oh forgot they also have the Rimmel Candy Nail Polishes in all the pastel colours, great for summer.Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me0 -
Pot Noodles 2 for a £1 in Poundland, choice of 3 flavours in mine.
