I got the WotWots Push 'n' Play characters in the Sheffield Poundland today, they had both Spotty Wot and Dotty Wot. They are £7.95 on Amazon

    Can't post a link I'm afraid as I'm a newbie

    A question for Poundlanders....

Are brand name products exactly the same as the ones I would buy in other shops?

I only ask as in the past i've bought brand names from Poundland and I could swear they have been weaker fragrances/tastes than the ones I buy elsewhere, which has made me think that's why they are in Poundland - because they are products that didn't come out right.

It may be my mentality thinking that, but they have a couple of toiletry products i'd like for much cheaper than Boots/Superdrug and the like.

Thw products they sell are the exact same as you would get in the likes of Boots or Superdrug but they are usually things they haven't been able to sell or are prodcts that have changed their label etc.
They wouldnt be allowed to sell inferior products and I have to say I've never thought they were. Hope that helps :o

Has anyone bought the cake box/carrying thing? round white base with a dome in clear plastic that clips to base and a white handle?
Have you noticed it makes your cakes really soggy and wet??
two cakes have gone like this now, both were completely stone cold when put in.

I bought one, but haven't used it yet. Don't think I will now!

I'm actually grateful for the Christmas heads up cheers! :D I'm a children and youth worker and need affordable but good Christmas presents for all the kids that come to youth group/ kids club and the sooner I pick them up the better so they all get the same. Got 12 little girls that will love the snowman skipping ropes, and thinking of getting about 10 of the ceramic cupcake money boxes for the teen girls...no idea what to get for the boys...perhaps the santa mug with him stuck in the chimney! thanks for the heads up :)

I used these last xmas with homemade xmas cakes. the cakes were wrapped in baking paper, then tin foil and stored in the cases for several months and the cakes were absolutley fine. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them. Maybe it depends on the type of cake you make ie fruit or sponge?
My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.
