Got a clutch of DVDs at Shepherd's Bush. Starsky & Hutch (the remake with Owen Wilson), Superman Returns, SAW, XXX Van Diesel and Nemesis. They were in normal DVD box complete with cellophane wrapper. On closer look, there was a sticker saying the DVDs are pre-owned and refurb. I checked them at home and they seem fine.0

Cute Animal Lunch Boxes in Poundland, £6.99 on Amazon In lancaster today they had cute animal lunch boxes, that also zip out as a place mat, in the poundland I was in they had the panda and the tiger. My daughter loves animals and will love hers.
Here is a picture of them

Haven't seen them mentioned anywhere else, Darlington £land had Weight Watchers Selection Boxes, 4 cereal bars, 4 choccy-based bars, a wee pack of choccy raisins and a little pack of mixed dried fruit and nuts. BB end Oct 11. The bars I tried tasted really nice. Given that this is an official WW product the original price was probably something ridiculous.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but in Stirling Poundland they were selling pre-owned DVDs, I got:
Phone Booth
Saw
A couple of the Friends series
They had a few other ones as well, thought they were good for £1, they come wrapped in cellophane with a sticker on them telling you they've been pre-owned and checked.0 -

I got one of these as every non stick tray we have - the chips/roasted veg stick to it! So tried this out today and worked very well.
Also I have been stocking up on the Goodis/Organix babyfood in there, well on the packs of raisins and apricots actually as they are great snackpacks and I would rather get 6 for £1 than pay £1.65 for 4 packs in the supermarkets!0 -

A question for Poundlanders....
Are brand name products exactly the same as the ones I would buy in other shops?
I only ask as in the past i've bought brand names from Poundland and I could swear they have been weaker fragrances/tastes than the ones I buy elsewhere, which has made me think that's why they are in Poundland - because they are products that didn't come out right.
It may be my mentality thinking that, but they have a couple of toiletry products i'd like for much cheaper than Boots/Superdrug and the like.0
