Picked up a book on James Brown today, The Hardest Working Man, How James Brown Saved America. ALso got dd an I-Carly Sam's Remote Link to amazon where it's a crazy price of £31.97, no way is it worth anything like that.Booo!!!0

picked up a fab Michael Palin book today for my Mum (Mansfield), 'Michael Palin's Hemingway Adventure' It's huge, red, paperback and details more of his adventures.
lots of lovely looking disney books as well. Wish I had kids, I've no excuse to buy them!

why do you need an excuse if you love the disney books and enjoy reading go for it girl better than watching tv i've got 4 grandchildren (but i would get them anyway) i will be getting some of those books but they will be staying at mine the kiddies can read them and borrow them but i love reading haven't for a while but hope to over the winter all snuggled up2nd purse challenge no040£0 Sealed pot challenge ???? £2 trolley find not counting small coins till end year0 -

lolthanks for that! I'm a children's and youth worker so I may buy some under the guise of using them as prizes and read them before I hand them over.
Saw brill looking toy story and lion king ones, they're only little but look great and are hardback, think they're ladybird. Personally I wanted the aladdin one, had such a crush on him when I was 5.

Usually retails in Boots etc for around £7-8!!Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!
