The first hairdye I bought didn't do anything at all( light golden brown ) but I have since bought different colours ( reddish brown ) and they have been good

I use hairdye from the 99p shop and that looks great, better than the expensive ones (as I can afford to use it more often).

I also use the dark reddish brown hair dye most of the time. I have long thick hair so need 2 boxes for one colour. There is no conditioner, but for this price i'm not surprised. Any decent conditioner will do.
I would recommend doing a skin allergy test if you are a little sensitive as it can be a bit stingy, and also stains the skin.... I normally end up having to scrub my arms and shoulders quite vigorously after doing my hair. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Recommended as a cheaper alternative. :D

I'm in my forties with previously dark brown/black hair. Very grey now and hair grows v quickly and is very thick so the grey really shows up. I dye the roots every 3-4 weeks. I used to used Nice n Easy but too expensive now, so I use the one in Wilkinsons thats in a red box and costs £1. Bloody marvellous and really covers the grey and such a bargain. I did "upgrade" to the one in a pink box at Wilkinsons and costs £1.60, but that was rubbish at covering grey-it just went a gingery colour-not a good look.
Sorry I cannot remember the brand names but they are easily found as Wilkinsons don't stock many cheap dyes.

    Hi,
My local Poundland had lots of different Nivea products in today....Nivea Soft moisturising cream 75ml (more than £2 elsewhere!), Rose Lipbalm, the new Hydrocare lipbalm, Essentials lipbalm, talc, soaps, shower cremes. All more than a £ elsewhere. Good bargains I thought.

    HTH.

    If you type in youtube

poundland july 2011 haul, you get lots of videos with what people have bought. Seems to mostly be made by teeenage girls for some odd reason, but interesting. people also do these haul videos for primark too. Great way of seeing whats in the shops without actually setting foot out the door :) Of course if there is something you like, then sadly, your foot has to go outside of the door, and into the madness that is primark :D
