"A blind test just means you aren't told which is which. It doesn't mean you can't see."
Doh! I thought you Irish had a sense of humour. Also Marty, your comment on DAC, they are not all the same...chips vary in quality just like the edible ones (joke). As good connections affect quality then so does conductivity in cables.
I would think the power supply to a good amp would not need to be any more modified as its own power supply should do that and the less electronics the better.
Was that not why Russ Andrews left the Russ Andrews shop anyway, some disagreement around these things...I may be wrong!
Anyway thanks for the most entertaining debate, nothing wrong in that!0 -
Sorry DK, didn't know if it was a joke or not.

My TV picture is crappier through my Freeview Recorder too!
I can't be bothered to trawl through umpteen pages of squabbling so if anyone has a remedy that's not going to cost me more than £20, would you kindly repeat it please!Thank You! XXX

Seriously..honest! I hate plugs. Most times when things go wrong its a plug and socket fault and scarts are about the worst for not making a solid connection. Try giving it a good wiggle, pull it out and in (no comments please) but it might also be sunspots or a weak flux capacitor needing more banana skins? Good luck anyway!0

Good luck anyway!Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0

Fair comments but the conditioner works I assure you. I dont know of any hifi electronics that have built in conditioners as they ASSUME that as you have their hifit then the signal going into it is clean. Though to be fair you would get positive results by simply using a decent mains cable plugged DIRECTLY into the mains (by this I mean nearly everyone (wrongly) has their tvs and hifi plugged into a c*appy mains extension that KILLS the main supply):idea:0
