Ill do any test anyone wants so long as its fair. But to be honest I REALLY DONT CARE. If your happy with what you have and dont want to spend any extra cash then fair enough. If you want better quality then I'll happily give what advice I can on a subject I myself have tested to the best of MY ability.

    Right, getting bored now..........

But so far a lot of what you've said is pseudoscience and not based on anything other than faith and psychology. I'll spend more money on something that's better because it's better. Not on something that merely claims to be better because it's more expensive. You say to the best of your ability but you don't say what that is, and since you don't seem to know about how to test things (blind/double blind) it can't be a scientific or technical background.

How does that change a single thing I've said?

Because the eye and memory is never fooled?

A blind test still applies to visual claims. (Being an engineer you already know that though). ;)

Lets keep it a little more simple. Im saying this ~
take 2 tvs EXACTLY the same and 2 blu ray players EXACTLY the same. Connect one set with kettle leads and the cheapest hdmi lead on the market (that doesnt have the DROP OUT effect) and the other set as ive explained before.
Everyone can stand there and just point to which CLEARLY looks better.
Theres a problem with this test?

Except the result is the same. There is no "clearly better". Just think about the electronics for the moment and you'll see why what you're saying is impossible. Although you may need to brush up on it as you've certainly got a misunderstanding of electronic signals.

You obviously missed my MONEY SAVING point but I'll reiterate.
2 people buy a hdtv from the SAME manufacturer with the exact SAME specs. The only difference is the code (which means that the INTERNALS are different even though the specifications are the same (on paper))
One costs a 1200 the other costs 2500. The 2500 SHOULD look better but doesnt as the guy with the 1200 hdtv spent 80 quid on a decent mains conditioner and mains cable and it looks TWICE as good as the other. Therefore 'saving' a hell of a lot of money whilst having a much better product to view.
