nice to see you back Pen-pin.
your sister is a big girl pen pin, there is realistically nothing you can do. much as you love people and care for them you can not do more than say what you think....and stand back until its pick up the pieces time.
try not to let it upset you too much, you need all your strength for getting better. hope you feel better soon XX

    Hi Guys!

We only got back this morning and stayed another night as the delivery people cancelled Friday night:eek:     ...so OH did most of it.

Im not going to stop long on here but I am sooooo annoyed at my sister. She bought her new BF a car costing 3k just 8 weeks after meeting him, then he got her to tell us it was his...so we didnt think he was totally a waste of space. He even lied to OH yesterday about as he didnt realise my sister had slipped up and told me. He drank constantly all day and night and sister drank like I have never seen her do before and they must have smoked 60 fags between them. He is freeloading and she gives him money for everything...he;s not even working. He sold the car for 2.5k and only gave sister back 1.5k as he needed the rest for his bankruptcy (sp)......I am so MAD:mad:     .....plus she has just invested 30k in a new large house she has bought and he is just living there for nothing!

I dont know what to do?????

I am so drained, tired and in pain. Have the nurse back in in the morning and my sugar levels have been very low. I am resting up tomorrow.

Came back to a clean home as the cleaners had been in on Friday and just catching up with the washing.

Havent read all the thread but hope everyone is OK.

    Hugs to all

    Afternoon all
spoke to dd last night - she sounded really tired. Her Uncle managed to take some nice pictures of her plane landing so I've put them on the blog that I set up for her trip. She made it to 8pm though so should almost be on Canada time today. I feel a bit lost without her and keep trying to kid myself that it's just a long Daddy Weekend - should be better once I'm back into w*rk routine tomorrow and then I have some time off the following week - must make sure I do something and not just pine :)

(((((((((HUGS))))))))) to all who need them today

Penny-Pincher you certainly do have a lot on your plate at the mo, just when you dont need it.
But she is a grown woman and will make her own mistakes, however much it will hurt her in the end, being tied up with a scrounging waster like him.
Please think of yourself, it is not good for you to get so wound up with the worry of it all

Hester Not good being Piggy-in-the-Middle is it? (bin there myself), a very difficult situation to be in, all you can do is what you are doing, tell it straight and keep the confidences.Tell you what though, they must trust you :A

stefejb ahh she will be ok, so will you when you are occupied, what about me time??soak in the bath, paint toe-nails and finger-nails, get hair done, sort wardrobe out, and try all clothes on that havent seen the light of day for goodness knows how long ;) Or are you one of those tidy people with everything all neatly stowed away.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Hello!

We are just about dry now after attemping the car boot sale! We got there late so most of the stalls had packed up and gone but didn't have to pay to get in and still got a few bargains, including some videos at 10p each, so plenty to knit to!;)

Goodness Kathy is it the wedding this weekend? That has gone by quickly, pace yourself and don't forget to enjoy it all!

(((hugs))) to Candygirl, PP, Smoky, Jayward, Mrs mix, beth and Mum and stefejb

Off to rescue a chewed up toy from Penny now she has almost destroyed it!

Have a good rest of the day!

Thanks Pippa.S i`ll have a look at the thread that you suggested later.
I did find a site showing how to do stitches and things but it completely lost me, perhaps once i`ve got the needles and wool out i will be able to work out how to cast some stitches onto the needles :D

I never got my nap and i`m absolutely shattered, i got a bit too involved in the wine and syphoned it into a clean demijohn and forgot to run it through the filter:rolleyes: i`ll filter it another day as it`s got a campden tablet in with it now - BUT - i have to say that i sneaked some expecting my first attempt to be vile but it`s absolutely delicious!:j
I hope it tastes the same when it`s finally finished as i will definitely be making this all the time.
Extra special thanks go to jennyjelly for her help and her wonderful wine recipe. This is going to save me a fortune.
I think i should get 4 and a bit bottles and it will work out at less than 70p per bottle. :D
Catch up later peeps - i will get a nap soon hopefully.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
