Thanks, Nelski - my favourite so far! A man doing the domestic stuff! I wonder if he'd do my ironing if I made it worth his while?!

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Morning all

Another hot and sweaty one here - having a bit of an ant day - just found some crawling over my laptop keyboard - have to be sooooo careful with crumbs here.

OH has gone out to sort some paperwork so I have a couple of hours on my own to do as I please. Only three more days together after today and that will be it until October. Hope we manage to do better apart than the last three months. Still, I feel we have sorted a lot out and got a lot off our chests, which has to be healthy.

Anyway - will try to read the thread before I get cut off,

    Love and hugs,

    PO xx

moiliere Have you taken any pictures of them yet? Bet your dreaming about them nightly.
dogrose Sorry to hear about your uncle. The flowers will be nice.

    Morning Everyone

Sorry I've read then got distracted so ((hugs)) to everyone who needs one.

Had a busy day yesterday in the garden and have another one today. Hopefully we'll be fully upto date when we are finished. Also I have a massive basket of ironing to do, I'm hoping to get that done while the grand prix is on.

Tea is a loin of pork that I picked up in the reduced section of Tesco the other week. I'm thinking that I might have a walk round the corner to get some local new potatoes as mine arent ready yet. On that note I better get my bum in gear

    Have a good day everyone

    Afternoon everyone,
lovely and sunny here at the moment but there is a big black cloud over in the distance so i`m willing it to stay away.
The washing is almost dry but i need a nap now so fingers crossed for the weather - i`d hate to wake up and find the whole lot soaked.

    Sistercas - Happy Anniversary:bdaycake:

Dogrose - sorry to hear about your Uncle

Nelski - Love the pic :D

The kitchen is like a bomb site, all the prep for the dinner is done and i have a demijohn and some other bits and bobs sterilising in the sink ready to put my first lot of HM wine into, hope it tastes as nice as it looks.
I had to pop out for some campden tabs for the wine and i ended up with allsorts of things. I`ve been after some of the pop up garden bags for a while to grow some more potatoes in and found them reduced in Morrisons for £1.98 each and i picked up a little watering can for 78p and a softgrip hand fork for just 28p so i`m very pleased.

I bought two cushion inserts which are a bit too small but they will be ok for the time being and guess what, i bought some knitting needles and two balls of wool  next week i`ll try to figure out what to do with them :D

Off for a nap now before sorting out the kitchen.
    Have a lovely afternoon guys.

    Afternoon all
The GP is about to start which means I now get my turn on the pc.
BIL has gone to Matalan to but bedding & towels etc ready to move into his new place, possibly end of Aug, but maybe Sept.
SIL is now ringing me every day, she has no-one to talk to, but I have told both of them I'm not betraying any secrets, what they say to me stays with me.
Hubby's having a bad day, not sure why, he has work for next week, weather permitting, so hopefully he'll feel better soon. I'm beginning to understand why therapists need therapy, sometime my head spins with all the stuff I'm getting dumped on me.
We're having lamb & new pots, broccoli & peas from the garden for dinner & I need to make packups for tomorrow.
Hope you have a good journey Martyn.
Hope you get the car sorted Soba.
    Welcome to MSD
Hugs to PP, Mrs Mix, Jannie, Candy, Smokey, Annie
    Have a good day.

Waiting for DD to get ready so that DH can take us to Ikea to look for curtains, bedding and a rug.

I will be amazed if we find anything suitable as she wants cream with lilac, violet or purple and no one seems to be doing these colours at the moment.

Have salmon for tea with veg or chicken burger for those that want it and will do cabbage with onions and french beans with it.

Just going to see if DD is ready yet!

    Hugs to everybody.

  • Hi Guys!

We only got back this morning and stayed another night as the delivery people cancelled Friday night:eek:     ...so OH did most of it.

Im not going to stop long on here but I am sooooo annoyed at my sister. She bought her new BF a car costing 3k just 8 weeks after meeting him, then he got her to tell us it was his...so we didnt think he was totally a waste of space. He even lied to OH yesterday about as he didnt realise my sister had slipped up and told me. He drank constantly all day and night and sister drank like I have never seen her do before and they must have smoked 60 fags between them. He is freeloading and she gives him money for everything...he;s not even working. He sold the car for 2.5k and only gave sister back 1.5k as he needed the rest for his bankruptcy (sp)......I am so MAD:mad:     .....plus she has just invested 30k in a new large house she has bought and he is just living there for nothing!

I dont know what to do?????

I am so drained, tired and in pain. Have the nurse back in in the morning and my sugar levels have been very low. I am resting up tomorrow.

Came back to a clean home as the cleaners had been in on Friday and just catching up with the washing.

Havent read all the thread but hope everyone is OK.

    Hugs to all
