Aygo over the KA. We get alot of KA's in - problems with wishbone arms etc. My niece had that and other problems whilst hers was under warranty.
The Aygo will hold its price more, it is less to tax - £35 per year too. And alot more reliable. Servicing will be reasonable - if can find a good independent (don't think you are near me)
Guess the Yaris would be out of her price range?Genie

Spend your money how you want I say. I'm saving up for a V12 something, just to upset people - a brand new one obviously.
I know we are Toyota/Lexus, but we do all sorts... One of our customers has just brought over a 1959 F100 Ford pick up that he found in a field in California! Its great! Uses about two gallons of petrol to move 50 yards
His other car is a new Dodge Ram... I like that too
I'm guessing you've got a Rav!Genie

No I got a Suzuki Grand Vitara 3 door, VVT +
Which as you know is a design rip of of the Rav4 3 door.
I wanted a Rav4 3 door, but they stopped making them, why:mad:
If I go up next time to a 5 door (& I may do) I will try & stretch to a Rav4 5 door, unless they bring the 3 door back.
I REALLY wanted a new car when I got mine, but I did look at the 3 door Rav4's, they stopped a couple of years ago didn't they?
I can't figure out why they stopped, surely small 4x4's are really popular?
What you gor Jeannie, I can picture you in a Hummer:rotfl:0 -
Oh I'm really boring... bought for my pocket and have a Focus - 3 door. But my dream car is a Land cruiser - I love them... Preferably an Amazon. I don't need one, but don't care.
And I'd get a Mustang for fun
New Focus Cosworth looks interesting........Genie

Just a thought - if your daughter doesn't mind very nearly new - place where I got my Focus, has loads of Fords, ex lease very low mileage, some not even registered. Called Copthorne Motors - bit of a trek but worth it, not far from Gatwick Airport. DON'T buy a Focus cabriolet - they leak
Edit - they have a websiteGenie

Short wheelbase 4x4s, such as RAV4 3 dr, Gr Vit 3dr aren't as stable and ride isn't as good as longer wheelbase 5 drs. As Aygo/107/C1 made in same factory in Czech Republic, there really should be no difference in quality between them.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

Beg to differ on the Aygo's etc. Recommend you view all of them and you will see the differences, need to get under the bonnet and in the electrics and feel the bodywork. You'll be surprised. The Aygo is better and will hold its price more than the other two, which is a point to take into consideration.Genie

I thought that unstability thing was only in old models, not in new ones?0 -
Jeannie - this would suggest that there are 3 sep production lines in same factory -agree that Toyota badge would command more money on used market. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

How ridiculous would that be!! 3 lines... I'm sure you are right and that all the components are identical, the bodywork is identical, everything but the badge is identical. Well I never.....Genie
