I'd say Fiesta if I had my choice and it was my daughter - although if I had the money, I'd get her a Focus or similar sized car.
Shes buying it, so I don't get a say really.
Its probably going to be a Aygo or Ka, shes gone out with BF today to look.0 -
Probably go with the Aygo over the Ka - but then don't know that much about the new Ka's. Guess they should be better than the previous model. They go thru wishbone arms very quickly...........Shes buying it, so I don't get a say really.

The new Fiesta is lovely...Genie

Whats your problem with French cars Jeannie???

We all have some predudice, can you explain?I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

I don't agree with all this business about having lots of metal around you in case of an accident. What makes you so sure that having a lot of metal close to you in the event of an accident will make it more likely that you'll come out unscathed? As a driver, and in the event of an accident, isn't it likely that you would be thrown toward the windscreen? Therefore, is Citroens windscreen any less secure that another manufacturers screen?jeannieblue wrote: »Not French, not Fiat - and NOT too small. I had a Citroen Xantia and liked it very much. Nothing wrong with it at all and as well built as anything comparable to it I'd say.0 -
I'd have a bike before a car any day

The roads are full of brainless tw@ts in steel boxes on wheels these days

Usually driven by mothers shouting out children and talking on the phone at the same time. Meet them every day on my commute.chaddy7604 wrote: »I'd have a bike before a car any day

Electrical problems mainly.... and think they have more 'Fridays' in a week than we do. All makes have 'Friday' cars but the French seem to have a hell of alot more. They are also, generally speaking, bl**dy awful to work on too.cyclonebri1 wrote: »Whats your problem with French cars Jeannie???

Citroen's quality on bodywork leaves alot to be desired. Very thin and tinny.
Peugeot and Citroen have problems supplying just basic parts - back ordered to lord knows when.... Renault not alot better.
I'm spilling nearly a weeks worth of frustration out re parts here!!
Can't be ar5sed to go on......... plus I would take up all the forum space .. :eek:Genie
