That may well be - but I prefer to have a car that i can pronounce the name of without too much difficulty.

    .

You may well do, but others may not, the Daihatsu Sirion comes with a 5 year manufacturers warranty, what kind of warranty do Ford give?

Oh and it is actually made in Japan, the Toyota Aygo is not.

Jeannie I would ignore inactive if I were you, hes/shes strolling through the boards looking to make mischief:rolleyes:

He/she don't give a monkeys what car my daughter buys, he/she just wants to argue.

Personally I do have a life & I have better things to do, as I'm sure you do Jeanie.

Excuse me Mrs E, I am not doing any such thing, I was offering constructive advice to those that may be looking to buy a new small car, not just your Daughter.

As I have said before, you do not own this thread.

But you surely (don't call me Shirley) can't possibly believe that buying a Peroda thingy is better than an ST Fiesta? It will hold its price far better!! that is just common sense.

I have to agree (sorry MrsE:o ) that a car made in Japan is superior, which is why more and more people are importing them in.

I was actually referring to the Dahatsu Sirion, which is far better than the Ford, has a high spec... is made in Japan and comes with a 5 year warranty.

Essentially the Perodua is the same car, albeit without the same prestige or warranty.

Daiahatsu would be my choice if I was buying a new small car, which I am not, I hasten to add.
