The refurbs are Grade A definitely come with a 12 month warranty and have been returned within 14 days as mentioned.

People on this forum: http://www.avforums.com/forums/iphone-discussions/1146875-o2-iphone-upgrade-free-32gb-3gs-13.htm have said that they have looked at the 4th and 5th digits of the refurb iphone they have received to see which week they were made. Some are week 49, which is the start of December.

I've been offered by retentions a 32gb 3gs on £45/month on 18 month contract for free or a 16gb 3gs on £35/month 18 month contract for free. Probably go for the latter but waiting for them to come back in stock.

18 month contract for free or a 16gb 3gs on £35/month 18 month contract for free

new contract that would be £185 for the phone so that's good. i wonder if orange or vodafone retentions would be good?

They'd have to be to compete with o2, it's worth a try.

Will be locked to Tesco, they *might* take o2 sims as tesco use the o2 network, but they'll not take a vodafone, orange, tmobile sim without jailbreaking and unlocking

Tecso PAYG is not unlocked, but does work with O2 sim out of the box, no need to unlock.

If you sign up to an 18 month contract now then you will miss the iphone 4. It will most likely be out june 2010 and iphone 5 june 2011.

I am looking into get the iphone again but will wait until june for the new one.

competitive tarrifs in comparison to orange and o2, am liking the fact they're throwing in unlimited texts as standard, and VDf to VDF calls for anyone who pre-orders, was going to get an iPhone, but will probably have to stick with O2 as for some reason I cant get a contract on Vodafone, they must have the strictest credit criteria (i dont have any problems on the other networks) and have had a perfect oayment history for years and years on other networks
